Almost perfect detachment for Orks and I am very happy to get to try it out myself. One tiny complaint if even that is the fact that this detachment didn't give me an excuse to go and buy more buggies. Those are almost their own army at this point and they are not doing too well. And to be able to play them I would have to spend like 500€+ to buy models, that only get any play in one bad winrate detachment. Would have loved to get some support for them in either Grotmas or balance dataslate, but didn't get it this time from either.
The issue with Kult of speed is the data sheets, base sizes and the fact that it’s a shooty detachment Army wide bs5+ (with the exception of shokk jump ) on a shooty army is just bad and any large number of buggies becomes a traffic jam that gets move blocked and cannot fight it’s way out of a wet paper bag. I seriously had the entire army kill almost nothing in cc or shooting in a game it held primary and scored well for half the game but it’s just so lackluster

VOIDWEAVERS with haywire are the sauce for this aeldari detachment! zoom them up the table 20ish inches and kill all the vehicles you can reach with assault anti-vehicle 4+ dev wounds. Ofc if your opponent doesn't have vehicles (tyranids, daemons) or places their vehicles in reserve/deep strike (grey knights, drukhari....) this has no play, but yeah. that's all I can figure out that this detachment is good at. If the whole codex is this bad we're in trouble, hahaha.
Great BR and exciting match up. Just wish there were more closeup shots when you face off in engagement range etc, so we can see the (very nicely painted) models. I can barely see what's what from so far away. Would make it easier to follow along and also for the immersion.
Brian forgets so many rules man 😢 Throughout that whole turn 3 he did end up catching one of the mistakes, arguably the biggest one, but the other 2 prisms would have gotten a hit and wound reroll as well. That warboss would 100% have been dead if he actually used his rules there. The Autarch presumably has the banshee mask and should have fought first. Also, ngl, but bringing 3 prisms, bright lance walkers, a falcon full of dragons AND a lynx is such overkill on anti-tank when playing against a detachment you know beforehand is bringing more infantry than vehicles. I've had that notion before that the lists he brings with Eldar are unoptimized almost to the extent of setting up to lose. I get that they tend not to go full skew, and shouldn't, but it feels like I haven't seen my main faction win a game here in like 8 months now, and the lists really do not help.
