Valtan will be a game changer for sure. People will either love it or hate it with nothing in between. Pretty sure this is a checkpoint for Lost Ark in NA-EU. Can't wait to see how it goes

There is so much information in one gate only. I feel like the game doesn't prepare you for legion raids with a increasing difficulty content. It's easy peasy and then just throws you in the lion's pit
How long before the Orbs disappear if we do the stagger check via Wei? Or do they even disappear if we kite them long enough? Could be useful to know if we have him at 15 HP bar but there are dead people to do the mech properly.

I just can't with this shit on hard mode. That red wolf is so overtuned and fucking stupidly designed as hell. It sounds easy, but it's not. Sometimes you just get applied 2 or 3 stacks instantly if you're melee character and jump from 0 or 1 to 3 instantly, can't even use panacea in time, and the explosion happens from either you or a teammate next to you and you can't even predict that this guy has 3 stacks and he'll explode just insta-killing people next to him. It's fucking impossible. Why can't they just give you a 1 stack of bleed at a time and like 5 seconds grace period from getting a second one, and then again 5 seconds grace period from getting 3rd one. It would have helped so much, cuz otherwise after experiencing 1 week of this nightmare I still keep on fucking dying randomly from people next to me without even any fucking alarm that would make it possible to dodge.
I honestly give up on this raid, been trying to do it for like a whole week and there's always this one genius that gets the party wiped because they don't know the orb mechanic
Mechanic with orbs is similar to T1 abyss before nerf 🤣 this will be hilarious 🤣 in EUC this T1 abyss was comedy show 🤣 for some people taking orb in order is too much of a challenge 😉 I'm prepared for some wipes and I'm happy, more wipes equal more experience. I don't like beating new content in first try if you done it with pure luck. I'll go pug and I'll say that I'm happy to do this with pug because it's fun. When using party finder I always have luck to meet nice people and do everything without problem. So we will see how this will work for Valtan 😁
can you cheese the 30 bar mech? like i saw that all raid memberes are going to 6 o'clock and only the leader remains near the boss, summons wei and then runs to 12 o'clock without taking the orbs so that the rest of the memberes are comming to do the stagger. Is that ok if we will do it ?
each gate gives loot and lets you save progress, no more argos "pick 1 to finish" you can finish one or two gates (some raids have 6) and come back later
The orb mechanic is just bad game design. If one person fail, party wipe. This create toxicity in the community and prevents new players from joining party finder. There’s a difference between difficult gameplay that challenges the player and just bad game mechanics. Just wiping from one mechanic… in many other games like FFXIV the developers never put a one player failure resulting in entire party wipe cause it’s just not fun for everyone. What Lost ark created was a you fail, you get kick. If you in a group and that one person keeps failing or dying your in a trap game with them. If you’re that person, you’ll never want to play again. In turn this creates a toxic community.

Heads up the tripod on Guardian Tune won’t work for the orb debuff but it will for blue projectile and fear

You can do Gate 1, get loot and disband to do Valtan on a different day with a different group if you want to.

super late, but if youre the 4th one to get the orb and the debuff is at x3, it means its your turn to get the orb IF youre the 4th one in line

What do you mean by dribble the orbs?
It means to "kite" the orbs - basically run ahead of it because it will follow you, but running too far can cause issues.
Yeah it means pulling the orbs by kiting the ball but still keeping it in leash range
