It's a very formal thing and often seen as a coming of age event like getting a driver's license
Not true, if these girls are trying on senior prom dresses then most likely they are 18. Well at least most are, hopefully the producers verified that they were senior prom vids and not junior prom. At my high school the junior class decorated the gym to a theme, procured the band to perform that night and provided the refreshments. All of this was done to honor the senior class. Our theme was "Atlantis under the sea". The upper area of the gym was spanned evenly with wire and roll after roll of blue crepe paper were hung in waves across the wires. The walls were draped in spirals of different colored ribbons of green crepe paper representing sea weed. Interspersed between these ribbons were stuffed paper fish. The bandstand was a sunken ship. The refreshment stand was a scallop shell. The back wall of the gym was hung a large hand painted mural of two skin divers exploring an ancient ship wreck. The lead out where the prom couples would appear and be announced was a ruined Greek temple complete with broken columns and steps. All this work was done by the junior class and paid for from the sale of magazine subscriptions. $5,000 dollars paid for the prom and that was a lot of money in 1968.

Because the US school year runs September to June, Prom is at the "end" of the year roughly in May. This gives the Unior year class time from the start of the school year in September through March-April to plan and prepare for it. Many High schools call it a Jr. Sr. Prom because it is really for both the Junior and Senior classes. (Those familiar with what the year is like for Korean Seniors might know what I am getting at by mentioning this) The Logistics of a Junior Prom for South Korea: South Korea's School year starts in February? To give the same amount of time to plan, The Prom would need to be held in November. Not the best time for a fancy dress party in the Northern Hemisphere. Or much Have a shorter planning time, and hold the Prom in the late spring when the weather is nice. (Works Great in Australia) Do to the typical academic and social pressures on High School Seniors, they likely would not have anything to do with it. So it trully would be a Junior Prom, which would probably be a good thing. One last party before the hellish year of Study for the CSATs. Good luck to all High School Seniors this year. Fighting!
My prom got canceled in my senior year because of the Covid. Oh well , at least I didn’t pay for a dress - not that I needed to since my aunt was making it for me. A little sad but -
You said it would be nice to a "chapter" like this, there is absolutely nothing keeping you sweeties from creating & having your own 🎉PROM🎉 Just make sure you stay safe😁well you know with that damn COVID-19 and all, you can still have fun & add this to your memories💜❣

Prom dances are totally different from the graduation ceremonies at the high schools in North America (Canada & USA share similar experiences). Proms are milestone markers for the seniors who are the graduating year -- 17 yrs old even graduate earlier than expected of excellent credit & promoted to senior year -- not taking place after the graduation ceremony before several weeks before graduation. The graduation dinner takes place with the schoolmates or just family.
Prom is a very formal event for seniors in high school. Mine I was picked up in a limo, wore a $500 dress and my date in a Tuxedo. We ate at a high end French restaurant with a bill higher than my dress. Then you go to the Prom itself which is usually in a ballroom or other type of building. VERY formal. We entered on a red carpet and had photographers. Think the entire night cost well over $2,000-$3,000 usd. This was in 1980! Yep I am old :P
When they pause when he spoke english That's Exactly how in my country, friends and family do when you try to speak English .....😂😂😂😂😂 I can't........its so funny... English is our 2nd language
in Junior High we tried Prom twice 9th & 10th Grade and last one in 12th Grade, maybe to make good memories in High School Life that's why they implemented it,
Our principal was really the antagonist of our highschool life. She literally said no to our JS Prom. 🙄 We were really excited that time but when the she announced the big ltter NO, our section got wild nearly having a war (ohh only when she went back to her office).

Prom , is a dance party for high school students. It may be offered in semi-formal black tie or informal suit for boys, and evening gowns for girls. This event is typically held near the end of the school year. There may be individual junior (11th grade) and senior (12th grade) proms or they may be combined.
kinda gross how they're reacting that way to minors... please remember they're still in high school and majority of them are still underage; please don't be disgusting (especially the one who did the motorboating motion and talked about the FATHER like that... watch yourself dude)
Ikr it made me kinda uncomfortable
Minors? Really? Some of their dressing does not show that at all. Also uploaded on the internet? You can see their reactions differ according to appearance.
@@zikaenendu6214 just because they don't "dress like minors" doesn't mean they aren't (they're allowed to dress however they want)... besides, even if they're 18-19, they're still in high school. it's hella weird for these (probably) college or post-grad guys to be making suggestive comments. they're literal children--whether they "show it" or not--in a completely different part of their life compared to these guys
@@zikaenendu6214 you seem like a person who’d justify rape by what the woman was wearing. if they can’t control their actions, they shouldn’t be out in public with women because yikes
@@zikaenendu6214 bruh they're wearing dresses not lingerie weirdo
Prom is tomorrow night for my school i ain't going but so excited to see photos from after it all their dresses so gonna rate them myself 😂
$5,000 dollars paid for the prom and that was a lot of money in 1968.
i didn’t get to go to prom my junior year because of covid and my senior year a guy asked me but he was really rude about it so i said no and went with a group with my 3 friends and it was so fun. we went to target and olive garden before. 10/10 recommend going with your friends!
They have Junior Prom and Senior Prom, so it's not a graduation dance, it's just a social event for students, but it's definitely a tradition.
Hooney i love your reactions😂😂 haha saludos desde Argentina 💜🇦🇷
Your videos are always great😊👌
Good luck 😊👏
The way they say woww and awww on the dressess they wore 😹
For every dress came out they were like “wooaaah”😂😂😂

Their Prom dresses are so pretty😊
Because the US school year runs September to June, Prom is at the "end" of the year roughly in May. This gives the Unior year class time from the start of the school year in September through March-April to plan and prepare for it. Many High schools call it a Jr. Sr. Prom because it is really for both the Junior and Senior classes. (Those familiar with what the year is like for Korean Seniors might know what I am getting at by mentioning this)
The Logistics of a Junior Prom for South Korea: South Korea's School year starts in February?
A little sad but -
You said it would be nice to a "chapter" like this, there is absolutely nothing keeping you sweeties from creating & having your own 🎉PROM🎉
Just make sure you stay safe😁well you know with that damn COVID-19 and all, you can still have fun & add this to your memories💜❣
Watch Indian wedding women Tiktok... Includes south Indian North Indian wedding dresses
*Well this video was a total bomb to be honest i loveed this video but i was just staring at xiweol most of the time tho he is too cute and handsome lol*
Love how the guy is correcting him on how to say fairy and he is saying it wrong!!!!
Образы шикарные! Вы такие милые, и веселые!

in Junior High we tried Prom twice 9th & 10th Grade and last one in 12th Grade, maybe to make good memories in High School Life that's why they implemented it,

Our principal was really the antagonist of our highschool life. She literally said no to our JS Prom. 🙄 We were really excited that time but when the she announced the big ltter NO, our section got wild nearly having a war (ohh only when she went back to her office).
