Awesome video with lot of details that will come in handy if I decide to buy… also looking at Intech campers. BTW, how much this one will set me back? Thanks for the wonderful video.
Sorry missed this comment earlier. I got a remaining 2023 model. It was a pretty huge discount from MSRP. Not many substantial changes with the 2024 model. Used the money I saved for many of the upgrades in this movie, and a few more since. Still come out way ahead.
Yes, I discovered that a couple months after this video! Although the button keeps a small trickle of water flowing, guessing to keep the hot water heater on. The shutoff valve is nice to completely stop water flow.
Nice. Congratulations!!!! That is a cool looking camper. Your car is squatting quite a bit (and it looks to be empty on the picture) - that looks a bit scary - especially considering that you will load people and gear. Anyway, lots of fun ahead 🙂
Thanks, looking forward to lots of adventures! I measured the hitch height before and after the trailer was connected. It went down about 1 inch. The picture makes it look worse than it looked in person since the front of the car is closer. Towing with an Audi in interesting since the owner's manual specifically forbids weight distribution hitches.
I have a MBZ and they specifically say no weight distribution bars as well. Do you have trailer brakes on your Audi? I was reading on a MBZ forum that they aren’t necessarily In Cali if the trailer is less than 3000 lbs?
I've been meaning to do a follow up video. Perhaps I'll compile links for all the upgrades. I've added a number since this video. I got most of these ideas from the Airstream Basecamp Facebook group. There are some docs there with links and a bunch of posts.
Yep, would love your supply list, and I know this sounds trivial, but would love the bag source you used for your water and power cords. I can’t find any that collapse that well to fit in top of the propane tank tray. Thanks.
I've been meaning to do a follow up video. Maybe I'll pull together some recommendations with links. I mostly got ideas for items from the Airstream Basecamp Facebook groups. Take a look there, lots of list of favorite items.
The powerbank in the video is an Ecoflow River 2. I got it off Amazon. If you're patient, you can find deals. This is great to have a portable charger handy for laptops etc. I added a larger Ecoflow Delta 2 for when I am boondocking. Only one trip so far has had hookups.
@@abigmac1999 I may have added this after the video, this is a great power station. It quickly charges phones and will even charges my Surface. This item is frequently discounted on Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VPHVT2Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I love the airstream trailers but they never give u any storage space. I have a converted tack space in my 3horse gooseneck trailer. Had lots of storage cabinets built in and a big refrigerator and25 gal water tank and there is no way I could fit all I have in the horse trailer into most airstreams. You gave an excellent presentation. So, I would think 6-2024 these would cost well over $100,000. If I had one I would want to live in it full time. Thank you.
Awesome rig!
Very nice.
Such a sweet rig enjoy all the family memories to come
Pretty little Airstream, but I must say your driveway and landscaping is 👌👌👌
Thanks for the tour

We’re looking at Intech and Basecamp too. Great video. Thanks.
Gabe, I believe the button on the shower head does the same thing as the valve you added and it is much easier use. Really like the addons.

nice video, gave me some good tips
Thanks!
Nicely done!
Thanks! 🙏
Incredible!
Hi Gabe. Could you add links to all the wonderful add ons? Hope you are enjoying your new rig!!!
Good job man
Wow that's a nice camper bro!
Thanks! I'll have to do an update movie now that I've taken it out a couple times.

Love your accessories - can you share name of gear or links?

Nice video - thanks. Question: where did you find the suction anchors in the shower?
Got them off Amazon:
HASKO accessories - Powerful Vacuum Suction Cup Hooks - Organizer for Towel, Bathrobe and Loofah - Strong Stainless Steel Towel Hooks for Bathroom & Kitchen, Towel Hanger Storage (2 Pack) a.co/d/0fxgaEAu
@@gabesmisadventures Thanks -
You can run the AC from a Honda 2200 jenny with a Micro-Air Soft Start.
@@Fixin-To I had a Champion 2500 dual fuel generator. On propane (about 1600W) it runs the AC without a soft start.
Do you have links for the items you bought on Amazon?

For the price of that Airstream, the interior design and planning is seriously lacking in my opinion.😮
