Mate - that looked absolutely incredible. The b-roll and images are on a different level! So so pleased for you that you got snow and also very jealous of the incredible shots you got.
Great video Rick and kudos on the stunning images! Most importantly, you've come back with priceless memories, I hope to do something similar someday. Bravo!!
A friend of Alex’s here and I was out in other parts of the area at the time.. you had some cracking conditions - I was a bit jealous of your walk into he lost valley - proper gnarly! Hope you get back up here sometime!
Thanks Tim!! Appreciate the comments - I remember him mentioning that you were fairly local at the time. We got so incredibly lucky that week, it just made it so memorable. I definitely will - love it up there.
Really good video Rick. The tempo, soundtrack, shots and edit are sweet as ! And the stills are amazingly beautiful. I love the subtlety of them (if that makes sense ?) Not in your face over edits. Spot on Perhaps we should have a convo about a bike packing trip ?
Cheers Alex, really appreciate that!! I think it can be so easy to overdo things when it looks like it did, so I’m glad you like them. Sounds good… I don’t think my wife reads these comments…!!
@@3elementscreativemedia I've got a subscription to Envato Elements... very worthwhile as I use stuff on a lot of client projects too (animations, stock footage etc).
Great stuff. Inspiring. I’ve done a little winter mountaineering maybe a decade ago (where has the time gone / pre kids) and have been wanting to get back to that and bring my new interest in photography to it too. Seems like the perfect mix for me also.
¿ A little sound-design to spice it up? ¿ How about " before and after" ? You know, getting ready, .. driving there... meeting your partners.... chattting....Or , trying your new stuff for the first time, or when you actually put your new boots on, on that day before the climb.... I mean, " know it is not a gear review, but, you have already showed us the boots, the crampons and the pickaxe. but then, nothing happens with those items... Yes, there is nice footage... but ..The story? I am suscriber 342.. I will be back.. to support your effort and sincerity....
Thanks, I appreciate it. I know, I wish I'd done more to document it but I wanted to experience and learn as much as possible without distracting myself too much with the camera. Now I know what I'm doing, I'll use next winter to create something more immersive 🤘🏻
What a superb video, a great message and stunning images.
Thank you Chris!!

Thanks Nigel - you’re too kind!! It was so epic, we got incredibly lucky with the weather though… something I’m not used to 😂
First class images and well done 👏
Thanks Alan!
Class video as always. Stunning photography and great message 👏💪
Thank you Matt, very kind 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Cheers Stephen!! As you can probably see, I’d thoroughly recommend it!! Thanks, appreciated 👍🏻

@@RickBebbington Forgot to ask. What are you using for the animated graphics in the video ?

Thanks Kris. Good fun isn’t it?! It absolutely is, just wished winter up there lasted longer!! I know what you mean about the time going though 😬😂
So… what should I do next??! And which of the photos do you think should go on my wall?
Iceland 😉
@@andrewmahon4290 yep ☺️
I love that detail of the blue in the snow…
This is so dope!! Scotland has been on my list for a minute and I probably won't be doing all this when I go, but it's nice to know it's an option lol
Sorry Chimdi, only just seen this - thank you so much!! Give it a go, it was really rewarding :)
