GEEE! I thought all you did was jump in and drive the fields.. I didn't know things actually BROKE and wore out too!! Doesn't the guvmint give you new ones when they wear out?? I really wish we could get your videos in front of a LOT more people so they could see that farming and ranching was a LOT more than just bouncing along in the field in an air conditioned cab listening to your tunes and sipping sweet tea!! I'd bet you guys even get your hands dirty!! I originated from farm country in central Illinois. Life took me away from there and farming. I see that farming has changed drastically since 1955. BUT, I see there is still a LOT of good old fashioned GRUNT work. Thank all of you for doing it. It can't be the money that keeps you out there. Not in that weather today.

    Thanks for another great video.
    It was interesting and enjoyable.
Working on the planter. Getting ready for spring. Be here before you know it. Lots of parts and things to look at on the planter.
You and Brody are great at checking all the planter parts. Nice work guys.
Sorry you got several people down after the KY show trip. Easy to catch stuff now days. I guess Amy and Eric got it. Don’t know if anyone else. You all take care and get better soon.
More snow in your area. Wow. The winds make it worst. You all do a great job of pushing the snow. Be safe on the roads.
    Thanks for everything Chet.
    Take care and be safe.

Brodie - I no longer live in snow country, but when I did I used a shaped plastic tarp stretched across the windscreen and held in place with the (closed) vehicle doors. It made getting rid of the snow before driving a simple task.

I always throw a blanket over my windshield before a snow when i can't park it inside- basically the same thing as you, but when you forget or an unexpected snow happens - I must say, darn Brody - good idea. All these years with my compressor right by the garage door and I grab a brush - doh!
there is a saying - not that Brody is at all. ""if you want the fastest, no messing around answer to a problem, ask the laziest guy in the shop, cause he is probably the smartest".

I really enjoy your videos, with the exception of how "Dougo" seems to blamed for most everything that breaks, wears out, goes wrong, or just doesn't work. His video contributions are really informative, interesting, and delivered in a good, folksy way that I really enjoy. I hope it's done in jest, and for fun, but he seems like a really decent man, who has worked his tail off to keep the farm running.

Didn't read all the comments, so someone else may have suggested this. Take a slotted piece of metal for the main frame and a couple of common iron bolts and make yourself a square cornered U shaped caliper type gauge for measuring the diameter of those discs. Cut off the bolt heads, use double nuts to attach the bolts to the frame, set it at the width desired and start measuring away. Super-fast way to do it with no worry about the hub. Bolts don't have to be very big, 1/4" should work fine.
