@@waniliodass9480 Now that you mention it, you're right -- but if I remember correctly, he voiced the anime. The game that I was thinking about had a very vibrant neon color scheme and well-made graphics. It was very appealing to look at.
He voiced a game called grisaia phantom trigger or something.
This was genuinely very impressive. Yeah some impressions were still quite a bit off but as someone who didn't know Joey even had this talent im awestruck.
I remember he had an older voice impressions video on his main channel from years back, and I think he's actually gotten way better here lol

So true, it mostly comes from your voice controls and also learning other people's and character's manner, habits and pitch of their speach. It's very interesting. I tried to do VA job in the past but didn't got a lot of that because of busy study schedule. It takes a lot of patience, but really fun when you get hold of those skills. ☺️

Kiwis often change their soft "e" sounds to hard "e" sounds.
So "yes" sounds like "yeis" and "bed" sounds like "beed"
There's a lot of tiny home videos that come out of New Zealand, and as a Canadian (who grew up surrounded by a number of Brits) they sound pretty normal to me until they change their "e" sounds. Whenever they talk about their beds I giggle a bit. It sounds adorable to me.
