Sonex Build Project Update

Hi Everyone, here is the update on the progress of my Sonex. I'm taking a break for a little while while life pushes me in different directions. I'm not giving up on the project. I just need to make some tweaks to what I am working on for the moment.

Saw your video of the JetCat P200RX engine runup. I assume many are familiar with the SubSonex Jet with the PBJ engine. As I understand it the PBJ engine has very expensive and IMHO, ridiculous and prohibitive maintenance requirements & costs. Looking around I see engines such as the AMT LYNX GAS TURBINE MET 1569 with 300+ lbs of thrust with a more reasonable price and hopefully much more reasonable maintenance
requirements. Does anyone here have any thoughts regarding this?

It was supposed to be a joke. I haven't worked on the plane in a couple months since I got my new car, so my wife asked to use it as an art studio while I look for hangar space to move the plane to. -Dan
