On 28th morning we started our journey from Devas at 0433 AM with google map showing Patna approx 1300 kms with arrival time 0037 hrs. I drove to Patna alongwith breaks for breakfast, lunch, CNG/Petrol and reached the destination at 2230 Hrs on 28th May itself covering 1276 Kms in 14 Hrs 52 Minutes of driving in 18 hrs.

Chewing gums and snacks Jo easy ho khaane mein, saath rakhoge and beech beech mein khaaoge toh neend Kam aaegi. Tried this on my journey from Delhi to Kerala to Delhi and worked wonders for me.
Chai ya coffee is also a good substitute, in my opinion.
Songs sunna bhi important hai, preferably upbeat songs.

I would also add:
1. If someone is driving alone, keep a can or two of Red Bull. Avoid it as much as possible. But if it is an emergency where you may not have the luxury to take a nap along the way, then Red Bull may help. Take this advice with a pinch of salt.
2. Keep yourself hydrated along the way with a bit of water now and then.
3. On highways, CCDs and McDonalds usually have clean restrooms.

You can also add, don't set any timelines to reach any destination. I e. I have to reach to the specific location within next 1 hour or 30 minutes... People do that and I have seen that as well...
Peechle 4 saal se bhai mahine main 4 baar 400km ka stretch kar raha hoon......ab to aisa lagta hai ki agar din main 250 km car nahi chalayi to din main kuch kiya hi nahi....taxi wala nahi hoon bhai

500km har roz dubai me taxi chalata hu bhai 12 hour ki shift me, but yaha comfort bht hai, cruze control, automatic gear, hybrid taxi, auto hold, lumber comfort and ventilated seats, taxi names - toyota camry hybrid, hyundai sonata hybrid, Nissan Altima hybrid, Innova crysta Automatic.

@MJ i am confuse when to tilt the steering down. In long and straight drives i found tilting down the steering is more comfortable.
भाई मेरे राइट पैर के पंजे में बहुत दर्द हो जाता है 100 km चलाने के बाद , अगर रेस छोड़नी हो तो पैर को पीछे खेचना पड़ता है उसको बार बार करने से पंजे में दर्द हो जाता है।
