Very helpful points. I'd also like to add about driving with high beams switched on unnecessarily which is a very common and known issue in India, yet people continue to do it. There are times when I literally had to move away my IRVM for a few minutes just because the car behind me was terribly hurting my eyes with their high beam.
Another point is tailgating and stopping very close to the car in front on a red light, especially on a slope. If the driver in the car ahead of you is inexperienced then there's a very high chance their car will roll back while moving. Chances of accidents this way can be greatly reduced if only people leave a safe amount of space between cars when stopping on a slope.
First one is such a big issue even when it's a two way traffic it's so hard to see in front when a car comes at you with high beam

Hazard lamps are totally fine during fog conditions. Your back lights aren't always on but only when you apply brakes...someone in speed from the back can hit you!

@@ajaychoudhary2528 I'll stop using this when companies start giving back side fog lamps! Any reason not to use it? I know people in the back might think that the car is stationery but driver in the back will know it in a fraction that the car is moving and will also let them know that there's a car in front at the first place.
Completely wrong practice,that is why rear foglamps are given in the car which lights even more brighter than the normal red lights
he is right about the seatbelt concern, most of the cars are safety rated by ncap on the basis of the driver and passenger has taken all safety precautions already like wearing seatbelt, etc
so if the tester are giving rating on the basis of your seat belt wearing why not to wear seatbelt, i know some people feel pressure on chest or feel breathlessness as you never had a habit of wearing seatbelt, you have to wear seatbelt for 2-3 days its feel strained and uncomfortable but as your body adapt you finely never sit on car seat without seatbelt.

Good points to keep in mind while driving for a safe driving. I noticed that i follow all the points except that some times i pick car in second gear. I will correct it. Keep promoting safe driving. It's much needed in a country like India.

BHai in extereme rain and extereme fog hazard lights are a must... extereme weather conditions are a hazardous situation bcoz backside lights are not enought in extereme rain..

The inputs provided in this video is good. But couple of suggestions I have is to not drive on the wrong side on a highway as shown even if we think it is safe and only for short time.. Also dont take both hands of the wheel at any point of time while driving.

About hazard u are wrong… sometimes fog and rain suddenly comes when on highway… and if someone start hazard I get an idea of fog/rain according to weather and I slow down … and also in Jndia many a times u come across flock of cows sitting on highway person on my blind may not see it so I use hazard if I see many cows blocking lanes…
bhai fog me i guess hazard lamps should be used, because highways parr especially when the speed is high, kaafi aage jaakar car ke bulbs se pata chalta hai ki udhar kuch hai. Mostly because the headlamps and tail lights are stagnant. Hazard lamps blink karti hain toh andaza ho jata hai ki kuch hai udhar, much more than jo tail light ya headlamps se hoga!
Nhi brother , you have misconceptions, hazard is not given on car or bike for this purpose. It is only for stationary vehicle during breakdown.

Yes you can in that situation, he is talking about a scenario in which the car loaded with full capacity of people and boot is loaded there in the vehicles weight is more than usual then it is suggested to use 1st gear as it has the maximum power even then if its comfortably going then also its ok to use 2nd gear

While downshifting from 4th to 3rd gear after reducing speed to the appropriate speed range i have observed the car gets a slight jerk(jhatka)...what could be the possible reason?
Thats because of lack of rev matching when engine speed is different from the vehicle speed. You can look for a tutorial for it on youtube itself, your car wont jerk after you learn that technique.
that is normal. You need to do downshift at an exact rpm to avoid this. Another option is revmatching as kv mentioned..

As long as your clutch is fully engaged there is no concern
This will only increase your fuel consumption
a petrol engine can rev till about 7000-8000 rpm.. and a disel 5000 rpm.. the car wont allow to past it.. so the only thing that will be damaged is your wallet cause of fuel cunsomtion
