Not gunna lie. Totally thought this video was going to be "How I drank my own pee on the Sangre de Cristo". Glad you had snow to melt! Might be worth looking into the Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork poles. I've never used them but I know Skurka had a pair last him over ten years.
