I’m a retired bee keeper. This was nice to see. Bee Keeping, done correctly, is time consuming. You work around the bees schedule. I learned when in high school from a man who had kept bees for 70 years. He was a great Man! Thanks.

Was it just me or was there some flirting going on there? The smiles and giggles…….😂❤️‍🔥
Extracting honey looks fun when you do 1 box (super) but when you have 50-100 sitting there and only a manual uncapping knife it gets old very quick!
The best way I found when only robbing a few hives is a excluder board, place it under the box to be harvested overnight and the next day there won’t be a bee in the box, they can only travel 1 way while the board is in.

Outstanding video. I have a bee allergy. If I get stung I’m in trouble, but I am extremely PRO 🐝. We as Terrines are killing off the 🐝population at an alarming rate with the pesticides we use. If the 🐝 are gone we are gone. We need them to pollinate our crops, fruit trees, etc. I always enjoy watching them each spring while they’re working to collect the pollen in our cherry trees.

Hhhm. Ok, Ive kept bees & spun frames with my hand crank extractor. He’s just using the lathe motor to run the extractor. Nothing really interesting or new here. It’s always a messy process, not sure id want to do it in my wood-shop. A bit too scripted really.
