I was fortunate enough to be dressing room/backstage security for this exact show.
🎁Счастливчик, расскажи что либо!
That's pretty neat.
They’re such nice and super good guys. Don’t kick him out lol
I wish I was there, great show ✌️✌️
I love to hear some crazy stories
Remember when tickets were 20 bucks?Remember when the little bright spots in the otherwise very dark arena were lighters & not smartphones? Remember getting there early to get a close spot? Remember strange girls in teddies, heels & sunglasses asking for shoulder rides?
I cry for the children of today.
168 euro in Amsterdam this year
This tour I paid either $11.50, or $12.50...
I attended this actual show and 40 years later I am still a fan and just saw their recent show at PowerTrip. They are the world's greatest remaining Rock band. Amazing..
Wow!
No they aren't, Testament takes that honour.
@@afistfulofpimples1745 you can't be serious
@@afistfulofpimples1745Testament? Hahahahahahahahahaha
AC/DC is a band that can never be topped.
I'm 72 yr old Houstonion. I WAS THERE. I saw the. 8 ti.es in Houston.
This really captures the magic that was the Flick Of The Switch tour. I saw it twice. ⚡️
Brian might not be Bon, but he's pretty damn close. Fits right in. Voice of fire. So glad he was able to help carry on and keep our AC/DC going and on top!🤘🏼⚡
For those haters who give Brian Johnson disapproval... Majority of AC/DC fans love the guy 🤘🤘
When W. Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses was announced as AC/DC's guest singer on their 2016 tour after Brian Johnson was suffering from hearing loss... AC/DC's concert tickets were actually being returned for those European & N. American tour... They went from sellout shows in 2015 w/ Brian Johnson... to a number of shows selling below capacity in 2016 without him.
No wonder AC/DC never did anything w/ Axl Rose after that tour... We love Brian Johnson 🤘🤘THE singer of AC/DC next to Bon Scott.
I did not see this tour, but I saw AC/DC on 12/03/1981 Hartford, CT, USA. Front row seats!! I'll never forget Brian Johnson walking out on stage with a 8lb sludgehammer with the biggest shit eating grin on his face while a bell was being lowered onto a microphone stand. He laughed, smashed the bell (Hells Bell) with the sledge!! Everyone jumped, it was loud, then Augus started the Hell's Bell riff. What a concert. The second time was 08/22/2015 at Gillette Stadium, a mere 34 years later.
I saw this tour 40 years ago Dec 16, 1983 Montreal
I saw them on this tour in donnington England. AC/DC at their very best. 👍👍👏👏👏
This was the first AC/DC tour I saw. Fastway opened the show. I was 16 and in heaven. Flick of the Switch is an underappreciated gem.
hard to believe this was 40 years ago.
RIP MALCOLM!!! 😢
That Shoot to Thrill Simon Wright intro, so powerful
Brian's voice was amazing 80-85
He sounded like hardcore heavy metal vocalist 🔥
Best Rock Band Ever by far!
The best rock and roll band of the world
Brian Johnson, Simon Wright/Chris Slade the best AC/DC eras. Johnson is a f#king legend.
40 friggin years ago man. where does the time go?
Pardon?
Under a cat’s tail 😂😂😂
It went to Hollywood
I love Brian. I love Bon most of all, out of all rockers EVER. However am so happy that Brian has taken the reins and just smashed it. You rock man. You all rock. Band, followers,
old n young...... No pun intended
AC/DC should Upgrade (4k UHD etc) All of their Classic Live "PRO-SHOT" Show's from 1976-1988 and upload for Streaming/BLURAY. KISS/VH/OZZY/RATT/JUDAS PRIEST Etc should all do the same like SCORPIONS/AEROSMITH recently done.
Fkin sound is amazing.
AC/DC es insuperable en toda su carrera, pero para mí la década de los 80's es la mejor, tiene un sabor especial...
Truly amazing musicians. Incredible Band .
Wow what a period with acdc
I was there. Lower promenade section. Sunday night. I think it was oct 30. Never forget. Best rock show ever! I have seen them 7 times but 83 and 86 was the most memorable
In a golden age then. Band at their peak esp by 91 with Chris Slade. That Donnington show is stupendous.
I was there, also in the lower prom! Fastway opened. I saw 3 concerts that month at the summit... ZZ Top w/Joan Jett and Loverboy w/Zebra were the other two shows.
I was there ! Still got my ticket stub!
This bit reinforces why Malcom Young was AC / DC’s “secret weapon” really defined their sound. Just amazing seeing this and I was fortunate to see them live with Bon and Brian.
I like Simmons drumming for ac/dc he brings a tad more sonic boom to it
Sin City sounds badass 👌
Almost same saw AC/DC at the summit in 83,85(astroworld)86, 88, 91,96,2001,2009. Saw Van Halen in 84 and 96
Definitely at top of their game here
lol. go watch 1978 with Bon
Angus is fucking electric ⚡⚡⚡
HES PLUGGED IN FRIEND LIKE YOU ARE NOW HAHAHAHAHA ❤
PENTATONIC ❤
Simon Wright on the drums.❤
I always he was a good fit for AC/DC in the absence of Phil Rudd. Unfortunately Simon Wright had a real passion for Dio so he was always going to join Dio when he got the chance.
Best concert with Brian !!!
Hitting their peak. Simon on drums.
I saw this tour at the Tacoma Dome in Washington state, and some guy snuck in either a flare or a flare gun and he shot it into the ceiling during "The House is On Fire" and everyone thought it was part of the show. i think even Brian commented on it for a second. The flare seemed to fizzle out but re-ignited later in the night after the concert and caused several thousand dollars worth of damage to the roof.
Not very cool . Like the mental Frank Zappa fan at Montreaux . Set fire to the venue .
AMAZING FOOTAGE I Saw Them On This Tour Oct 18-1983 LA FORUM IT WAS KILLER IT WAS SO LOUD THE WHOLE PLACE WAS A SHAKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, talk about bringing back old memories, I live in Houston, been to many concerts at the summit, now its Lakewood church
Same here. I saw many concerts and rockets games at the summit
Brian Johnson was so badass here
Hard to believe they have been rocking for 50 years...
I was at this show. Fastway, who were great, opened. We went around back during For Those About to Rock and the cannons almost blew my ears out and looked like they might fall over. 🤘😎🤘
Che potenza Brian Johnson 👑 !!! 💪🎤
Это вытащили из ада и отмыли😊 Благодарим❤❤❤❤❤
ZERO PHONES!!!
Analogue man. Hold the old Bic lighters high....
sounds better
Thanks !
26:35 - Maybe when he finish school he will get famous. :) AC/DC forever!!! Fuck Yeah!
Brians voice was godly
I was there too! No ticket stub, but I have the t-shirt!
Why aye, bonny lad. Proper champion, like. 😁
No backing tracks here!
ACDC heavy metal classic rock 🎶🎵🎸🎶🎵🎶🎸🎵🎶✌️ man back in the 80s we used to party the ACDC music constantly man you know what I'm saying 🎶🎵🎸🎵🎸🎵🎶
Flick Of The Switch Tour. Saw This In Denver October 24th ,1983
I saw this tour that year 1983 in December at the Montreal Forum, for the "For those about to Rock" tour. It was the debut of the cannon firing!!
81/82 was the For Those About to Rock tour. 83-85 was the Flick of the Switch tour. I saw them in San Antonio, 2 days before this Houston show, and they did also use the cannons when they closed out with For Those About to Rock.
☺️☺️☺️ Vu le 21 02 24 . M . ❤️❤️❤️.
Thank you very much my friend. I hope to look another time ACDC. Ihave ticket to thé concert in august in PARIS and I wih that you are with you. I memorie this concert and I have a dream for you and Olivier with me...
I Kiss you.
KARIM
I saw the tour before this, it was at the Houston Coliseum for Back in Black. I love their early records.
I saw them Coliseum also.
My preferred song of this concert and maybe all 80s brian johnson era is Guns for hire .
The best set opener of the Brian era! I'd say Live Wire for the Bon era.
@@Remco96187 Mine baby please dont go of the first concerts,or school days ,but songs that are from AC/DC that Bon sang no one, same with Brian and all rock singers (to their respective bands).
"spin that wheel cut that pack roll those loaded dice bring on the dancing girls & put the champagne on ice" ... LOL...
Cut that *pack!♠♥♣♦
@@dognott LOLOLOLOL... Thanks....
Thanks for sharing this, this is priceless ❤
I was there.... This was right after Houston got hit by hurricane Alicia. They blew what was left of the roof off the place. Thanks so much for posting this and bringin back some good memories and some damn good rock.
Great quality! Listen to that SG ROAR in the intro!! Thanks!
If I had a choice of one tour to see them on it was this one in 1983. Flick of the Switch tour. 💢😘💯👍💥
No Bon era tour? That's wild, haha. I respect your choice, though!
Pretty good show for a much miligned era. Bangin version of Bad Boy Boogie ✊🎶
Круто! Спасибо!
Great set although short🎸 . Been a while since I've heard Flick Of Switch live. It's usually about a 20 song set list.
They did play a full gig here. They just didn't release all of it on Plug Me In. I'm not sure why. A full show would have been a nice Bonus.

Fastway opened up for AC⚡️DC on this tour... I believe! Talk about one helluv a lineup!!
Dave King master voice!
Fast Eddie Clarke
Yes man fast way. .....top notch should have done better....CROWEMAN
Hi guys, listen the Bon's songs sang by Brian....FANTASTIC....
Nope..only Bon could do Bon songs well. They were never the same after he died...and certainly not better.
I always use it for the GYM 🇦🇷💪🏻🇦🇷
Houston coliseum had all the greats JIMI..LED ZEP. BLACK SABATH.

Malcolm always carried the band on his shoulders.
House Is On Fire, cracking song!

This singer is a power machine! Thank you so much for share this.
Great energy!!!
Killer sound quality. Thanks for putting this up.
This AC/DC show is one of the band's best phases after Bon Scott death.🔥⚡
Im a big fan of rockn n roll, but not a big fan of ac/dc, but I saw they in 2009 with the original line up, and it was my best gig ever, this band is the greatest Rock n roll band ..no led zep, no stones, no pink floyd, no kiss
so why did you go?
@@gordon9177 couse i'm a Big fan of rock...
