Walking Wreck - Fallout Beach (CA, 2005)

Orange County hardcore / punk band Walking Wreck named their 2005 7" E.P. "Morphed Out" after a humorous, mean-spirited song berating narcotic-dependent, once-and-future Hollywood vampire Bela Lugosi. Here, they share their enthusiasm for a dangerous surfing feat called "shooting the pier." The playing on "Fallout Beach" is superb; each component instrument is perfectly locked into its own logic, rhythm, and groove. Fun shit-talk backing track, if you listen-in closely.
