      @@paul-ku when intetest rates low, there are lots amount of money in the market so does liquity. Don't expect direct corelation, but be aware that when interest rates low it is much more possible for a bullish pattern to reach its target. So it is reasonable to look for bullish setup when interest rates low. and viceversa, look for bearish setups when interest rates high to increase your profits.

    My 2 cents. Market moves from premium to discount vice versa. Just think if bigger “market movers” wanted to get out at a discount…they would need to return to a premium. Personally, Higher probable FVGs occur with heavy displacement, and following order flow. I think you start to see it happen again and again. You start to see how FVGs play into the most important part of the plan. In my opinion DOL if you have that. You should be able to identify high probable FVGs if you have properly: Demo trade, Journal, Tape read, and forward test.
    Curious on anyone else’s question thoughts love to hear them!

    Three brief questions or comments. First: Please take a few seconds and LABEL your stuff as it will help you communicate better. It is far more difficult to follow your lines and box shading when there are no labels. It also helps to clarify your accent.
    Second: I think I followed your reasoning for two legs down from the monthly, but then I may have lost it on the last example UNLESS you are saying ANY two high probability legs down regardless of timeframe as long as timeframes are lower than then monthly? Like one on weekly and then one on hourly? Seems weird to drop from monthly to fifteen minute / five minute or one minute Since this is a critical point, please clarify your lower time frame shifts. Are we waiting on high probability legs on every timeframe from monthly to 1M ???
    Third: can you clarify entry? Do we either enter on retracement into the FVG OR on the close of the candle that made the FVG, OR can we also enter on the first line of defense such as OB, BB, MB, BPR?
    Thanks.

    Can you do a video on when its ok to reuse a FVG. For example near 21:57 the sting into the FVG was the second push into the FVG. Do you have an mechanical steps on when its ok to reuse a fvg?
    Like is there such a rules that on the second push the swing point for the first push has to be taken out?

    At 10:00 when you drop down to weekly time frame, there are two very big FVG upward that shot through the original FVG FLOD that you started with. How do we just ignore those in real time and just keep shorting?

    • @yankuan._
      @yankuan._ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      because the downward candlesticks denied the formation of new FVG upward in monthly timeframe
      you should look for long opportunity in the weekly timeframe at "two very big FVG upward" before they deny the formation of new FVG upward in monthly timeframe, but at the moment they closed the gap for a formation of FVG upward in monthly timeframe, the "two very big FVG upward" should be ignored
      this is based on my understanding, Im not sure if it is 100% correct, any other opinion?

    • @florentinamatei8514
      @florentinamatei8514 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because Monthly LLOD has been respected, and actual orderflow starting with daily and weekly of course (the one on the right side) is bearish. So price disrespected FLOD and OD on the Monthly Time Frame, but did respect the Monthly Swing High, which was our LLOD (no body closure = no intent to go higher). So it showed us that it doesn t want to continue higher on Monthly Time Frame. This was also reflected on the new Orderflow created on the Time Frames above (daily and weekly). We should follow the current flow of money, which now is bearish and not to expect to take longs from the gaps on the right side on the Weekly Time Frame which completed the move for the Montly Time Frame. This is the confluence about CONTEXT of the Time Frames. Monthly didn t want to go higher.....this is showed by the CURRENT gaps (orderflow) on the right side. NOW WEEKLY IS IN CONTEXT WITH MONTHLY.
      Sorry if my English isn t great. But I hope my answer will clear things up for you.

    Wait.. I must be missunderstanding something: So after the Weekly FVG hit, we needed two 1h legs to entry off of that, but if our PDA would have been a Daily insteed of a Weekly FVG we could have Sharp Turned? Or was Arjo just making examples?

  • @Glizzardacus
    @Glizzardacus ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Slowly implementing FVG's into my daily Micro NQ trading, and even without COMPLETELY understanding these simple concepts Arjo is throwing out, as long as you, at minimum, use confluence from higher time frames to give you your bias on FVGs? Works wonders.
    Arjo - what's your opinion on using the 1hr TF as the highest time frame of reference, versus the daily/weekly/monthly, in order to get into more positions? Obviously there may be more fakeouts, but the probability of success should still be pretty high, no?

    Hi sir ,when you are shifting from weekly to 1 hour ,you are waiting for two 1 hour high probablity leg ,so are you saying weekly time frame is two step higher ( means two time frame , daily and 4 hr time frame is in between weekly and 1 hour ? ) than 1 hr , is this the logic ? So are you saying if we will consider any daily fair value gap we will expect 2 high probablity leg in 15 minute snd then take an entry ? This is still a grey area to me ,I have tried to understand the proper entry pattern from your previous vedios also but it is still a confusion 😢,when we consider the 1 minute time frame also ? Are you consider 1 minute atall ?

    Appreciate your all hard work and good explanation, but I think in this video it appears that you overlook potential 100-pip movements only to get 20-30 pips to proof that the Market Structure Shift (MSS) is unnecessary besides, I agree with the being in context thing, however the reversal starts from lower time frame and impact higher, For instance, you could be bearish on the monthly timeframe but bullish on various lower time frames, causing a shift in the monthly trend after a few months

    really appreciate you. crystal clear content. can see there is effort here in digesting ict stuff and propose it in a personal meaningful way, trying to eliminate the smoke. one question regarding prop firms. you need to stay low with risk in the challenges so not be blown out after 1 wrong trade. so you need multiple trades to pass a challenge. but your setups start always from higher timeframes thoughts (daily, weekly, monthly) and so the real high probability occasions are few in a reasonable window of time. and if you put in the real percentage of winning, say about 60% just to throw a number, its even more a long term perspective even only pass a single step challenge. Am I right ? Please continue with you beautiful content explanation. Bye.
