Yeah, the silk disappeared, and I was thinking: "What happened there?" Then I saw this comment and I was like, "Oh yeah! I'm such a dummy! I keep forgetting about those thumbtips!"
Nice one! Some Thumb tips. Never give the thumbs up, keep moving and either hide thumb tip behind the rest of your hand or point it straight at the audience. With just a little practice your audience won't notice the damn thing, even when it is bright red.
Xxl or jumbo thumb tip are big but short.King size is wide and longer. If that is a dryer sheet, good improvise. If you cut a silk diagonal it looks bigger held by corner, but takes up less space.Rubber tips look darker but are opaque.Plastic looks good. But dark silks show through makint it darker.Use white yellow pink orange or even red it don't show as much and silk looks bigger.
I know that you primarily use 2 mm cardboard for your projects. But is there a certain type of 2 mm card or certain qualities that I should look for in order to replicate these projects? I had bought some on Amazon, but I'm not sure it's the good stuff.
"Thumb Tips" come in various sizes. Yours seems a little small for the size of your thumb. Get one which fits the snuggest and plunge it in as hot water as you can handle for 1 min to soften the plastic a little, then put it on your thumb and let the plastic remould around your actual thumb. Once a thumb tip fits properly, to the untrained eye it's vertically unidentifiable. Great work buddy. Keep it up.
Highly dissapointed the thumbtip was not made out of cardboard :)! Thanks for your awesome video's!
Just wouldn't bend round enough

Can vanish the silk a number of different ways. Easiest would be a change bag.
Could you tell me where I can get that holographic paper please?
I buy it from my local stationery store but I live in Thailand so I can't advise where to get it.
Under what name could I find it on the web?@@letsmakemagic8233
