FINALLYYYY got a simple shirt made with the help of this tutorial!!!! I can sew all types of fancy clothing, but a simple shirt always had me tripped up! Thank you!!!
Dear Alisa, once again you remind meq...I can do it. You showed me I could do it.I did trace my shirt to make my pattern. I ha have a a new piece of knit family fabric in mind. I love your little model too. Now if only I could learn how to text better...LOL
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you creating these amazing and cute pyjamas and top for your beautiful daughter. I really really love ❤️ how they turned out too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
That is a really cute top for your daughter. Your new PJ set is cute also. I like to sleep in nightgowns. Could you make a T-shirt into a loose, below the knees, comfortable, cool, cotton, summer nightgown (that really looks like a nightgown)?
Esti super talentata! Te urmăresc cu mare drag și interes deși nu înțeleg tot ce spui dar înțeleg ce faci!😊...m-as bucura sa pui subtitrare in română la videourile tale!( e o mica dorința!)
Thank you so much for your videos! I took the plunge on drafting my own shorts/culottes last week. Not bad for a first effort! The knit fabrics you use are beautiful and look easy to work with. I can’t find anything like them near me. Do you ever get them online and if so, where? And what is the fabric percentage content? Polyester, cotton, rayon? So many questions!! 😂
Christine, hello there! I actually buy most of my fabric online, I only have 2 fabric stores near me and those are Joann's and Hobby lobby, and quite small ones, too, so online it is :) I will leave a video link for you here - I did a full video about places where I buy fabric online and why I like them. Both of the knits are from Fabric Mart and I wrote on the screen in the video what fabrics those are. AND - great job on drafting your first shorts pattern - woohoo! It will get better and better as you progress in your journey :) Here's the link - th-cam.com/video/BSErC0ZzUKk/w-d-xo.html
@@ThoughtfulCreativity Thank you! I just went to Fabric Mart & ordered a couple things. We have only Hobby Lobby here so watching this video was a big help. I appreciate you and your channel so much. At age 69, you have given me the confidence I need to start sewing things for myself again.
Great video again! I’m keen to try this! (Where do you buy that roll of pattern paper? I’ve bought a similar role as a remnant from someone but have never found the same kind of paper in a store. Mine is also rolled on such a brown cardboard roll. I know this question might not be very interesting but I would be really grateful for your answer. I’m almost running out like you were on the video and would be so happy to find it again.)
@@ThoughtfulCreativity A it's medic tracing paper! thank you (and I'm so sorry! I must have overlooked it while browsing the description!! Thank you for still responding to the question! )
Works just fine, but you will have a "pocket" of fabric between bust and armpit, which is going to be there no matter the bust size, since that is the essence of grown on sleeve. You can google "plus size grown on sleeve (dolman) top" and you can see visuals of how it will look from RTW stores. Make a mock up if not sure, take in the account ease, fabric and which t-shirt you're copying, as I mentioned in this video.
Hi! I'm learning with your videos. I would like to watch the jogger pant pattern that you mentioned at the end of the video. I can't find the link to the video. Thanks
So awesome! Love your videos! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️💯. God bless everyone who reads this and love you all: make sure you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour everyone! He is coming soon! Accept and believe in Jesus Christ! John 3:16, Revelation 20:15, 1 Corrinthians 15 1-4, Romans 10 9 and 10, Ephesians 2 8 and 9

How does this pattern work with a larger bust?
Works just fine, but you will have a "pocket" of fabric between bust and armpit, which is going to be there no matter the bust size, since that is the essence of grown on sleeve. How is the connect with you? I like you video and then can you show me how to make size 6 and 12?
Hi! I'm learning with your videos. I would like to watch the jogger pant pattern that you mentioned at the end of the video. I can't find the link to the video. Thanks
Just type in the TH-cam search bar - thoughtful creativity jogger pants and you will see it :)
@ThoughtfulCreativity thank you!!! I found 3 of your videos. And, I just watched one 😃
How would I add enough length to a grown-on sleeve pattern so that it becomes a flutter sleeve? My pattern is almost identical to yours.
I have a video for a butterfly/flutter sleeve blouse - go take a look, it is a step by step drafting tutorial on my channel.
