I saw some people say they were even returning to my video from years ago and it still hit them hard, gotta say, that made me tear up. 😭 But, of course, there’s also the ones that will just comment that they liked another ship, or that they are against this one. katara was the mother figure for everyone in the gang, except zuko, that's just one of the reasons i think their realationship would be better, like with the others, she felt like she nedded to protect them all the time because she's the more mature in the group, with zuko, she didn't, because he's also mature, i think that's exactly what she needs.

When they developed their so called other personalities/alter egos (Katara being the painted lady and Zuko being the blue spirit) I just felt like they connected more with them selves through becoming somebody else.It was truly a magical point.
Nah duh... Zuko was the oldest why would she be a mother figure for him?... Plus he was already super mature and stuff having to spend 3 years without his Immediate family (excluding uncle iroh) SO duh-

just picture how amazing the last episodes would be with aang realizing that he cant stay in the way of katara's happiness and choices and says to katara that he sees the way that zuko and her look at eachother, he'll always love her but he'll love her even more if she is with the one she wants. katara kisses his cheek and runs to zuko and just gives him a kiss, he gets scared at first but then hugs her and gives her another kiss. done, episode over, series over, everyone happy
how did zuko end up with mai it's fairly simple they were two people who loved each other and were willing tio make sacrifices for each other so they got together whats hard to understand

You can tell in each image how much love the artists had for the Zutara shipping. At 3:18 The couple's facial expressions to "So not your girlfriend huh?" was so cute. (Honestly, the show's creators should have at least let these two get together in The Legend of Korra, that way everyone would be happy)
How is it forced? It was built on friendship? Which is a very way to build a relationship.... It kinda was. Katara showed romantic interest in him like 2-3 times and that was it until Aang started to demand a answer from Katara and kissed her two times without her consent and then she said she was confused but she somehow still chose to spend the rest of her life with him?
I don't know what the writers were thinking to pass up on Zutara. Just imagine that babies that would have been produced by #TeamSteam. The ultimate symbol of reconciliation is love...would have unifying after the war and speed up healing and normalization.

I said “‘You don’t wanna raise your husband.’” Anng’s just a 12 year old kid and even though she’s a fourteen year old kid she a lot more mature than Anng. While Anng is goofy and realizes his responsibilities as the avatar he didn’t really change that much. But her and Zuko have a lot more in common both lost a mother while young, both struggle with their demons, both are more mature than they actually appear to be, and both lost a ‘father.’ Zuko just wanted his father’s love, approval, and for him to notice him. While Katara’s father went off to fight the war leaving her and her brother to look after the tribe.
