Hi, Mystee! This is really interesting to me as a fellow stay at home/homeschooling mom looking to bring in some money. I’m planning to pursue blogging/youtube in the long-term, but I’m trying out eBay to bring in cash faster. Would you Mind sharing more about your store? Do you have a niche? How many items are in your store? Do you work daily? How often do you source? Thanks so much! Also, congrats! I see that this video has done so well! Your channel is doing great already!
As a homeschooling stay at home mom, I can tell you reselling is an awesome option for extra income to support your family. That's awesome you are looking to help support while doing all the things! I can maybe think about making an in depth video where I go over all those type of questions. I have tried several niches, but I tend to come back to clothing as my primary choice. I have a little over 1K listings currently. Its hard to really say how much I work because its spread out between all the things I have to do as the stay at home parent. I do tend to work daily but that's my choice. Not everyone does. I source about 2x a week until I find all the items I need for the month (this months goal is 217 new items listed). It takes me a few hours per trip to source. I reward the kids with park time or ice cream cones for being patient while I source (pro tip LOL). Thanks so much for the encouragement! I appreciate you.
I am actually about to film a haul today. I shop mainly at local thrift stores. Occasionally good bins/outlet. I have some consignment items for people I know. I rarely stray from those avenues of sourcing. Glad the information was helpful. I appreciate you watching.
Do you always do buyer pays return shipping? If yes, have you tried free returns? If yes, was there a difference in selling products? Just found your channel. Clothing I seem to stay away from but I know it can be good to profit.
I always do buyer pays return unless it’s genuinely something I did wrong (flaws not noted, broken parts, etc). I have never offered free return shipping, so. Cannot speak on behalf of that. I have done free shipping on orders and I didn’t notice a significant drop when I switched to paid shipping. Most customers understand why shipping is charged and I have almost 5 stars on my reviews for shipping. I’ve done a few selling categories but I always come back to clothes.
2 weeks of crickets? oh no! my store has just gone silent for 2 days and now I'm afraid the glitch got me too. I'm glad you recovered. Great video!
Yes but I have a theory on why it happened but no proof! 😂 I’m hoping your store gets moving again soon!
Great video! Quick and to the point; don’t change😍
Thanks so much for the feedback! I prefer genuine and to the point.
I guess I need to re-evaluate my idea of fast. I like my things to sell within 7 days :-)
That’s fine too. We all choose our business model. Mine is eBay’s 90 day STR.
Eloquii is now owned by Walmart. The resell value dropped significantly, once Walmart bought them a couple of years ago. I see it in my Walmarts. 😐
Ohhh. Good to know. I will look into that more. Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. ❤
I worked in event and seminar sales for 12 years and February was always a very slow month!
I certainly felt it this time around! Thanks for your insight.

Thank for the thorough reply! I’ll be here for more videos. Us moms have to stick together!
For sure!

Glad you think so!
