I’m doing this for 2025. I’ve done 10 new items for the last 5 years and have only bought 5 each year. Although previously I didn’t include shoes or bags. I don’t buy a lot of these. I’m not including underwear, socks or tights. Although I am limiting myself to 24 other items (so jewellery, underwear is included in this). I am allowed unlimited second hand (although I am trying to to be more mindful of amounts this year). I think limited numbers makes you really think about purchases. Writing them down helped me, having a list of items and dates that I bought them. I also have really successfully found specific things I wanted second hand. This helps me with the scarcity mindset, because you can find it in the future if you really want it. Or something else will come along. Good luck.
I'm doing the ten item wardrobe ( Jennifer.L Scott method) in 2025 , I am planning to shop my closet for my core pieces and if I need anything I will curate a wishlist.A handbag ,long black boots with a slight heel are some of the items so far on it. 5 Items per year sounds doable to add to those gaps that might come up.Good luck with your low buy❤
@@brigittabalog3796 I’m going to allow myself to replace the basics that already own if they become unwearable and not count that as a new or thrifted piece.
