    I love that you are bringing this beautiful property back to life! The million dollar views are really special, and the peace is gorgeous! I am enjoying seeing what you are doing next. Thank you for sharing this "journey" with us. 😀 You are going to love living there! 😀
    It would be great if more abandoned homes were brought back to life.

    I am happy to see more come here to Tasmania and do this renovation work. Many houses lie empty here for one reason or another. When many could be sold and honest buyers who can save them do so. I have built a house here and also renovated with hubby. Now we are happily enjoying Tasmania so keep going. Try to save any hard timber or old baths for gardens its great place to grow things and retire. Look forward to seeing how your project goes.

    Hey Tad, please insulate the external walls, I don't know if you are but it's the best thing you can do. Also the bedroom or office that is coming off your lounge, if you move the entrance around the corner and build a little niche there with two bedroom doors coming off it and some build in cupboards that would eliminate any awkward entrance from your lounge and you could put a door at the entrance to the lounge.

    • @taddy83

    • @taddy83
      @taddy83  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@chriscorrigan7420 dishwasher will be standard width and size. Cabinetry just loosely sitting there. It will look far more in proportion once it is all fitted up properly. Need access to walls to install electrical and new windows before the cabinets can be fitted.

      @@taddy83 I've just watched your next video. What a difference to the whole house. Are you going to remove all the cladding and go back to weatherboards? Bloody nice part of the country. Good on ya mate. Its great to see this sort of a show that has us in our own back yard. Well I suppose it's still oversea's. It appears to be quite a solid old place.

    • @taddy83

      @@chriscorrigan7420 the weather boards are in pretty rough shape on the main part of the house and painted with some sort of texture coat which will be a nightmare to remove. The back porch area will go back to original boards but I will likely reclad the rest of the house with some sort of hardie board.
