Love the house. The cornice and decorative ceiling rose is gorgeous. You might need to slow down a bit with your videoing. I was getting dizzy watching your video. Your view is fantastic too.
I 100% agree with you that I needed to slow up that video lol I was trying to beat the sunset as the house is still boarded up and I was worried about losing the light ... Thanks so much for the comment and stopping by the homestead 💕I promise the coming videos will be much better and s.l.o.w.e.r 😂 hope you have a great day.
The house & the position you put it are perfect 👌🏻 I can't wait to see what you do with this beauty!!! Also thank you for documenting it for us so we can see another option for how to build your dream Homestead ❤
Thank you ... So far it's taken a lot of guts let me tell you hahha it's not for the faint hearted 😳. Loving the planning the designing the challenge of it all X thanks for stopping by the homestead X
I just found you. I love that you are planing on restoring so many of the old details. The windows, doors, ceiling roses, etc are all stunning. May I suggest leaving the picture rail as is. Not all cats are into climbing (at least that high) especially as they get old. It would be a shame to lose that detail and the cats aren't that into it.
Thank you so much for popping into the homestead . I do plan to keep it as is it is such a beautiful old heritage house 🏡 stay tuned as we will be filming THE LOT 😄 Going to be a crazy ride that's for sure ... 🤠
So happy I stumbled upon your channel. Lovely house! Hopefully you can make it work with those windows - they're so beautiful. We just finished a reno in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and had to jump through a few hoops including going extra on the underfloor and ceiling insulation, but it meant we were able to keep the original windows! Fingers crossed you can do something similar. I watched your video over the course of a few sessions because it made be a bit motion sick 🤪Would you consider picking up a tripod to help get some more stable shots?
Oh I hear you on the motion sickness lol we do have a tripod but to be honest I was rushing to beat the daylight . I plan to reshoot the video much slower 🫣sorry and 🙏🏼 thank you for sticking it out and watching that means a lot. Cant wait to have you along for the ride 😊 there are a lot of hoops to jump through that's for sure 😄
Just come across your channel - personally, if your budget will allow it, I would take the house back to stud walls and redesign the floor plan - then if there are rooms you can't afford to complete atm at least you will have them built to a certain level.
Hi and thanks for the feedback we want to keep the history of the home as it is 😀 this was one of the things that drew me to the house in the first place 😊🏡stay tuned as it is a work in progress

Can you zoom out a bit when filming? It might be easier for us to see things.
