That concert was at the convocation in November 1999. I drove up from New Orleans just for this. She almost lost her life in May 2001. Kim Burrell recorded in this same place 1 year after Karen's concert in November 2000...and the live CD released in late spring 2001.

She went in for minor surgery, things took a turn for the worse and she fell into a coma for 3 1/2 weeks and was given a 2 percent chance to live by the doctors..but God gave her a second chance
