Separate and together, they take you to Church!! They harmonized and ad libbed perfectly. Even Jamie (playing the synth too), was blown away by Le'Andria! As talented and gifted as Jamie is, very few vocalists can make him react like he did when Le'Andria sang. He could barely stay seated and continue playing. Le'Andria, I LOVE to hear her sing anything. Effortlessly and annointed. I LOVE the annointed Clark Sisters too! They are TRAILBLAZERS. They were ahead of their time singing contemporary gospel songs. They were the first superstars of contemporary gospel songs BEFORE Kirk Franklin. (He faced the same challenges too). The song, 'You Brought The Sunshine' was being played in clubs, house parties, and Churches. When I first heard the song, Lol, I knew immediately, that the music was from one of Stevie Wonder's songs. I couldn't wait to learn how to play it. Lol, I played it In Churches and in the Clubs. Sadly, their Mom, the GREAT Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, was met with jealousy, defiance and disapproval from her colleagues (Pastors) at her Church. They gave her an ultimatum. Stop singing those 'secular' songs with your daughters or you will lose your position as one of the Pastors of her Church. She gave in to those jealous and antiquated Pastors. Their Mom, was a respected Pastor, Minister of Music, and phenomenal Choir Director, a LEGEND! God blessed the CLARK SISTERS anyway. 'You Brought the Sunshine,' was loved by whites as well. That song made them famous. It was #1 on the Billboard Charts (lol, on both gospel and secular categories). Oh, can I get an Amen, somebody? 🎙🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🙏🏽♥️
Singing is not all about hitting high notes r who can sing the highest... Le'andria was flawless... she didn't run out of breath and every note was on point... in my opinion she'd the best female gospel vocalist in the world and Brandy Norwood is the GOAT as far as female R&B singers...I don't care who did it first... if u got it u just got from God!!!
