- The GR10 (grande randonnée dix) is located in the south of France. It is a 954-kilometre hike that traverses the Pyrenees mountain range from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Mediterranean Sea in the east. The guidebook outlines a 55-day itinerary to complete it. This is day 5 to 8 for me, July 8th to July 11th, 2023.
Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port à Col de la Pierre-St-Martin
Kms à date: 184 of 954kms
Ascent à date: 8 900m
Day 5 to 8
July 8 to 11, 2023.
Hi Miss Christina! The landscape and the views are unbelievable! I have complete confidence in you succeeding and finishing this awesome hike. You are a strong young lady with a great attitude! Looking forward to next video! Stay safe and god bless your journey
I love how you say bonjour to the cows, your amazing pictures and editing, how you’re annoyed when equipment fails that you’ve purchased, and your amazing French speaking skills. You’re allowed to be tired too…..most people wouldn’t make it thru day #1. Keep it up Miss Amazing!!!!! 👏🏻
Hi Christina
Absolutely stunning views. Go girl go, you can do it. Don't give up. It is the altitude, what is causing issues. Love hearing those bells - that's how the farmers can locate their livestock, when the amazing mountains are fogged in. Incredible great video.
Cheers!!

Hi Christina - More beautiful scenery. Thanks for taking us along.
My pleasure! Thank you for coming along! 🥰🙏🏼✌🏼
Great walk on Jours 5-8. It is below freezing and there are flowers in bloom? Easy or not, you are a trouper, so keep on hiking! The mountain side seems quite steep, one false step, and unless you bump into a cow on the way down, will have a long trip to the bottom. Also, is that fog or the smoke from the Canadian wildfires that blew down into Pa. then over to your location? LOL
Breathtaking views, and again a view of the indigenous fauna (cows with bells, sheep or goats, donkeys, and horses), and a tractor! Don't forget to look for some fossils while on the trail. Have no concerns, you WILL get it done.
Great series Very much enjoyed.😃👻 Happy Halloween
Yay! Thrilled to hear it. Happy Halloween to you, too! 🥰🤘🏼
Wow. spectacular views !!! Merci de partager! You're a Trooper for sure ! Tout est possible !
Wow! Nice adventure, thanks for sharing my friend 👍👍👍👏👏👏
You are moving right along like the trooper that you are. I hope that you are getting as much out of this experience as you had hoped for. The views are amazing and it appears that other friendly hikers are in abundance so help is never too far off. Enjoy each day because they always go by fast in the end. Thanks for sharing another chapter of your journey with us. Be careful and stay happy and healthy my friend. See you on the next one.
Don’t give up! Stop, take a break & deep breath and move on! You can do it! Loving all the scenery. Keep on keeping on!
Thanks, Beth! You so sweet. 🥰✌🏼
Noisy cows.👍
I just loved all the cows… And their attitude! The way they just stare you down like you’re a piece of poo, ha ha. 😂✌🏼
Christina a lot of it may be you haven't adjusted to the altitude completely. You are doing alright stay safe
Thank you for the insight and encouragement, Phillip! 🥰
Wow, these are some beautiful mountain shots, especially with those clouds. Just stunning.
This range is pretty tall. Did you have any trouble with altitude sickness the first few days? Do you do anything to prevent it?
Nope. No issues with altitude sickness! 🥰✌🏼
I wish I could give you a baseball hat. Red cheeks!
And you’re always in the open. Not in the woods 😊
6:35 could be the cover of a Pink Floyd album called "Bomjour"'.
Hahaha. ✌🏼
Are you experiencing the extreme heat?
Hi again Christina - Maybe this will get answered in a future video, but in case it doesn't, where are all those animals getting their drinking water? For sure they would get some from the grass they are eating, but usually they need more than that?
There are random troughs, and there are bergers who tend to the flocks. I had to get my drinking water from one of those troughs at one desperate point, haha! 😬😁
There's no dogs (called Patou) on your way !?!?
Yes, there are. Keep watching! You’ll see…
What type of camera are you using. I was impressed with the zoom capabilities.
It was the iPhone 12 Pro Max that I used for this trip. 😊✌🏼
