If they're shredding metals and general debris in the same place, they need to have a magnetic separator to reclaim the recyclables. Otherwise, the process is not environmentally friendly.

We are being conditioned into thinking we must purchase the latest item or we are failing to keep abreast of the so called ‘latest technology’

There is a magnet at the bottom of the conveyor, so it is able to catch the metals!!
+Paddy Harps only the ferrous metals. copper, brass, gold, silver are not magnetic.
This promo video only shows the outside casings being shredded, it is possible that the precious metals were removed prior to shredding.
