      Couldn't agree more with foxhound . This is high quality journalism by a true professional. Nearly all TH-cam reviews these days are done video blog style with 10-minute showcases that tell very little about the car in question. Technical knowledge is also a rare commodity as most reviewers are only interested in visual presentation. And, BTW, presentation is not lacking in the least on this video. Best car review video I've seen this year, and I've seen a ton. OSV, Thumbs up for the really good work and please do keep it up! The automotive world needs reporters who actually know what they're talking about and are willing and able to express all the important information in a clear, detailed and honest manner. 5/5

    A proper review without the wank or moan about nothing just to get clicks. Very, very informative. Apart from a test drive, I see no reason to visit a dealer to buy one based on the info here! Thanks so much for putting a great video together and not just bang on about how fast it is or the pops on the exhaust. A review for the real world buyer.

    STOP HATING FRENCH CARS
    •Their engines are really economical
    •Their designs are way interesting than others
    •especially Renault and Peugeot know how to build hot hatches
    •Renault espace looks so much better than any other family van
    •they aren’t overly expensive
    •you don’t have to pay for every detail-> extras are cheaper
    •French Cars mostly drive really emotional (in a good way)

      I had 2 fast Peugeot in the past , the 207RC with 175hp and the 308GTI (2011) with 200hp. Both having the THP Engine developed by BMW , even the new 308GTI is using this engine design. Thi Engine is a real technical Desaster ! I would never advice a powerful PUG as long as this engine type is used. The unit timing belt is the issue in mostly all engines , some have problems after 20.000km , some after 80.000km but all have the same issue, high need of oil , 1 liter per 1.000km might be usual. Therefor I would remove Peugot from this List !

    It's too bad that the Renault Megane RS isn't available here in the U.S. It's sad that Renault completely ignores this market. In the meantime Honda for the very first time listened to their customer-base and finally made the Type R available here. I'm glad they did because I purchase a Civic Type R FK8 and absolutely love it!

    • @jacobzimmermann59
      @jacobzimmermann59 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly I think this is going to change. Historically the hot hatch hasn't really been a thing in the U.S. to the same degree as in Europe, but if the Type R is a success there, and I can't imagine why it wouldn't, I'm sure Renault won't want to leave Honda alone. That's the positive side of globalism, increasingly the manufacturers want to sell their models worldwide. So the U.S. are getting the hot hatches and we in Australia are getting Mustangs (that's another car that's very dear to me!)

    Ive got a 2021 300 sports RS and they have made a lot of improvements on the dash and infotainment screen and general button and visual appearances. For example, the ac dials. Theres now only 3 driving modes using the personamulti sense, sports, and race. Engine wise, it's now 300bhp and 420Nm in both sport and trophy. Finally there is only EDC now no manual which i personally prefer.

I drove it really hard, maxing it out on the motorway at least twice a week. Would drive it on the b roads like on the track. I might even go for a third one in a few years, unless the new 300 Trophy proofs to be something special. I hear how the gentleman,at times, down plays the Type R, but I don't see a review of the Honda only an 8 minute review of the Honda Civic. This video really looks like a infomercial about how you should 'REALLY' buy this car. It does sound bias to me.
