Honestly this guy is a beast. It’s crazy how loaded this WR class is. This guy in particular is going to make any team that drafts him happy. Big physical receiver that runs good routes and has a good overall speed. Most importantly in the highlights I see here he catches the ball away from his body. That’s a huge factor at the NFL level that not a lot of college receivers put emphasis on.
For teams that need a QB and a WR, they shouldn't sleep on Xavier Legette and then getting Spencer Rattler as a duo to draft for the same team. S. Carolina HC Beamer and OC Loggains run a pro-style offese. By the end of the college season that team was starting to really get rollin'. They're both naturally skilled AND know how to work in a pro offese, which is why Spencer was the best QB down in Mobile Alabama during the Senior Bowl. Spencer has really matured during his time as a Gamecock and Xavier bloomed into a MONSTER! Lagette is about 6'3, 220lbs and he's gonna run around a 4.3 at the 40. He's been clocked at over 22mph. He's runs defenders over like a bulldozer or blows by them like a Ferrari. Rattler may only be a little over 6' (maybe 6'1") but he's stocky at 210lbs, and he's not fat. He works well in the structure of the Offense but really does well as an improviser. Rattler can run under a 4.9, 40, plus his shuttle is somewhere under 4.3. He's quick enough to scramble to give time to the WRs as well as fast in order to pick up yards when needed (although a rushing QB isn't regularly part of his game). He definitely has the arm to get it anywhere on the field. He WAS an immature kid, but has really grown up since transferring to S. Carolina. I think teams would do themselves a disservice to overlook either of these players. Spencer will need a short stint behind a veteran, but with a good QB coach could be starting by the end of his 1st season. XL is ready to go day 1! If Maye doesn't drop to the Patriots at #3, I would not mind it one bit if NE traded back out of their #3 pick to grab XL, then moved on Spencer. As long as they also grabbed one of the top 10 OTs. I'm not saying Spencer could be a top 10 QB, but I know his 2ed season could be better than Mac's rookie season. Spencer can do everything they THOUGHT Mac could do, plus extend plays, as well as throw the deep ball (or just plain throw the ball on a windy day). They have so many needs and I'm not sold on J. Daniels. He gives me serious RG3 vibes which scares the F outta me as a NE fan. Although I believe they both (Spencer and Jayden) spent the same time in college and are both 23yrs old, JD had a MUCH better team around him and still doesn't utilize the middle of the field. He's too quick to run and doesn't handle pressure well in my opinion. True, JD is a more physically gifted player than SR. but JD's thin frame isn't going to do well playing like he does, once he gets to the NFL. At least not without the all-star cast like the one that surrounded him in LSU. But hey.. .this is just MY educated guess of an opinion. Most would probably disagree. That is if anyone actually read this never-ending dissertation😂
Ravens better draft him with the number 30 pick because Xavier Legette is exactly what we need to compliment Zay Flowers with his speed and elusiveness they both would mesh together so well and would be our thunder and lightning on our offense also I'm a fellow South Carolinian so having him on the team would make me even more happier #RavensFlock 💜🖤🐦⬛

Huge catch radius, tall enough to go up and win 50/50 balls, big enough to not get bullied when pressed, fast enough to take the top off a defense... I think he's gonna be big time at the next level.
