Great video. This thing is so deep. I just wondered what the return program audio is?

The return audio is for talking to your vmix callers (not program send ) and also sending them the program audio so they can follow the show...

@@ProVideoGO thank you. But how do you get it. Is it a special input, or where does it come from? Somehow I can't figure that out. Please help me.

Hope you answer: I don't understand why you have the RTN PGM when you can just light the automix; Doesn't it do the same thing? I'm trying to control 'echo' when you have a vMix to vMix call on with other video calls (vMix2vMix is more sensitive) so does the RTN PGM kill the audio feed so there is no echo or feedback. That is interesting why you did it this way. Please advise

The return pgm is for the green room only. It will never go into the pgm mix. It is there so your callers can see and hear what is going on during the show before they go in. You still have to set up your busses for audio so you do not get the echo. I set callers up to talk to each other on say A bus, then also assign them another bus just for going to pgm, say bus B. Then set triggers to turn A off and B on to master as they go in and then the same but off master when they go out. Ill try and get a video up on this soon. Hope this helps.

@@ProVideoGO so really that is audio bus B which is on all the time and bus A is only to add the callers to the mix!

Not sure if you talked about this, how can I have up to 8 vmix callers chat with themselves in the green room then bing one at a time into the program without them hearing the greenroom chatter? Since the audio source in the A buss for all of them...

I just posted this answer on another video but will post here also! If you have each speaker going into program separately, you can assign them to be on another bus in addition to the green room bus, then set up triggers to turn that bus (and the green room bus) on or off to master as they enter PGM and back.
