You're amazing! I would have started at the finish - had the beer and figured that I did good! I like Rachel and the Lil alien also and stop there when in the area.
It’s so cool that something like this even exists! Midnight run in the desert along the Extra Terrestrial highway?! Heck yes! Great job, Nicole. I can’t even run half a mile, let alone half a marathon 😂 Really enjoyed this.
The great thing about the event is they have super short runs like a 5k (roughly 3 miles). And you could technically take 8 hours to finish it if you just want to meander. It’s a fun event even if you’re just a spectator. I think I’ll probably go back next year.
Hi Nix, Greets from Europe the Netherlands, we are connected via TH-cam. We love your way of presenting the maps and the area where you do your adventures we would like to learn from you. The car video's are also awsome. Hope you can help the 2 small a little 😂. Please keep up your nice video's Greet Sandra and Jan 🙋🏻♀🙋♂
Hello! Thank you so much for watching Sandra & Jan! I subscribed to your channel and have started watching your videos. Beautiful adventures! I will definitely keep watching your videos! I never hiked or camped or skied in the Alps, but maybe one day. I use Google Earth studio to make my maps. It's a free service and I learn a little bit more every time I use it. Can't wait to see your next adventure. - Nix 🙂
This was awesome! Would I run any of these races? no way! I can't run for my life lol But, I do love anything Area 51/UFOs, paranormal stuff, etc, so really enjoyed watching that! When I lived in Vegas years ago I always wanted to visit Rachel, NV and never did in the end. It is definitely in my bucket list of places to see. PS: you had me at the X Files theme ❤👽
It’s a fun thing to do for sure! Especially for the photo ops at the Black Mailbox, ET Highway and the Little A Le Inn. Now if only Area 51 would start giving tours!
@@davidhardwick378 This is a GREAT race with all different course lengths! People have so much fun! I would suggest maybe train at an altitude of 5,000’ because that is the altitude of Rachel, Nevada.

Of fault scarp can be seen- the town of Fallon was shaken severely as what first hand accounts report the sounds of a "train" barrelling towards town and then being tossed about- many buildings were damaged including the overland hotel, which has pictures of the damage hanging inside today. There are signs on the hwy50 marking this and giving some more trivia I have left out.... But the scarp is still clearly visible in the hillside today when traveling west towards fallon
thank you,really amazing trip-))
