6:52 Anne Frank's dad died years ago, the only reason he published his youngest daughter's diary was because she always told him that when she grew up she wanted to become a writer and write a book about her experience in the secret annex where she and her family went into hiding. He edit most stuff out of it of things he found people shouldn't know about his daughter (like her discovering her own body and that she was attracted by a very close girlfriend of her)

In regards to 'I'm a boy, no you're not". This actually happened to my fiance. He would, as a child, tell his mom pretty regularly that he was a little boy. It made her uncomfortable and she spent years trying to force feminine roles on him. He is now scheduled for top surgery, has been on the for a year and we (a t-for-t mlm couple) plan to change our names prior to marriage. His mom is now supportive and understanding. Yeah, or from my parents perspective at least atm it's very much like the meme where as a small child I said that I wish I was a boy and my mom was like while you're not and I went through my life not being very feminine but presenting and identifying as "girl" because as far as I was aware I had no option. Currently doing some gender questioning (I think I may be nonbinary) and experimenting with more masc presentation as far as I can while still being financially and emotionally dependent on my fairly conservative Christian anti-LGBTQIA+ family.

The biggest issue with the "mommy i think I'm a boy" "well you're not. And that was the end of that" comic is that bigots think it actually works like that. That if their child comes out as gay or trans that saying "nuh-uh" or "i'll hate you if thats true" will turn them straight or cis. If anything it means your kid will learn in that moment to never be honest with you ever again, or trust you with anything sensitive about their identity again. Then, as soon as they're an adult and are able, they'll cut contact with you and go live the life they want to live ideally, or worse, end their lives because they know you failed them as a parent and will never support or love them. You don't 'cure' being LGBT at all, ESPECIALLY not through cruelty or denial. All you do is inform your LGBT children that they will never be loved or accepted by you.

      @spiritmuse 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +77

The reason they think it works like that is because they think that no one can be actually trans. And therefore anyone who thinks they are trans must have been fooled or manipulated or pushed into it somehow. Which means that all that is needed is a fervent denial to "stop" the child from "becoming trans". (In reality this means, of course, as you said, that they are betraying their child's trust and revealing themselves to be an inherently unsafe person, so their child will never talk to them about anything important ever again.)
It also means they believe that every trans person is not actually trans and will eventually, inevitably, regret their transition, which is why they keep harping on about long term studies and no long term study will ever be long term enough for them as long as it finds that trans people are still happy with their transition. And it's why they also believe that transitioning itself is the source of trans people's unhappiness, instead of things like lack of support and the increased weight of bigotry resulting from becoming visibly trans.

I've thought on this a lot some years back and I think the answer is actually simple: they see only the discrete labels, not the complex reality.
The reality is attraction is a continuum. You can be really straight and still see something that you'd say is a maybe.
They don't see the world this way though. There is straight and there is not straight. In their minds every weird intrusive thought bubbling out of the monkey sphere makes them all the way gay. And they believe that despite all that they've chosen to be straight.
And that's the mindset in a nutshell: in their minds heterosexuality is something incredibly fragile that you need to consciously choose to hold onto every time Henry Cavill flexes at the camera.
That also covers why they think being gay is a choice. In their minds it's a choice they make every time they get an awkward boner watching HBO, and any time it happens they could just make the other choice.

Protested for?The woke stuff being mandatory classes in college or doctors asking men if they’re pregnant or maybe forced woke policies in schools it sounds like insanity don’t get me wrong. You should be able to live without being attacked but the point of having freedom of speech is to be able to say whatever you want as long as you’re not threatening bodily harm now is that speech hateful sometimes yes but there’s a difference between hate speech and speech you dislike it’s it’s not illegal to be an 🫏 nor should it be also protests are putting it mildly and do you think you’ll get peace by attacking them maybe not you specifically but there are woke people who do you say that kind of hateful stuff to straight people you want the right to live and love in peace, but you have trans people who don’t want to state that they’re trans to the sex they are attracted to thereby lying to people and not stating the original biological gender for fear of rejection does our right to live and love not apply because there need is “greater” I personally have been called a bigot because I said I would not date a trans person nothing against them that’s not what I’m into it’s not about just living and loving it’s About forcing women to share a restroom with a biological man,it’s about making doctors ask men if they’re pregnant completely ignoring science to help someone cope with their own insecurity about the way they live we fight every day for our rights to our spaces and for our rights you would get a whole lot more acceptance if you wouldn’t infringe on other peoples rights but it doesn’t matter to you people because we’re straight and some it’s a sin for us being ourselves you’re right should not infringe on other peoples simply put

They are also called "pit bulls" and "bulldogs" because they were bred for bull baiting. People used to bet on dog fights (and still do but illegally). Sometimes they'd also have a dog fight a bull or bear.

While yes how you raise a dog HEAVILY influences its aggression. The problem with pitbulls is the heavy inbreeding done earlier that led to severe neurological defects. This caused essentially a doggo version of Alheimerz, so your beloved pooch who was always just a big cuddly monster, would suddenly turn highly aggressive and not even recognize their owner.
More responsible breeding practices today is why pitbulls are becoming safer lovable dogs. This same problem has been present in other dog breeds that were overly inbred, but pitbulls are the most talked about given the force of their bite, and the exaggerated curve of their canines which leads to a far more devastating bite even in play over that of a German Sheppard or a Golden Retriever (two other breeds who once had the same common neurological condition from excessive inbreeding)

20:27 The reason Pride exists and is called "pride" is because we gays were told _constantly_ that we should be ashamed for merely existing. That our very existence is "disgusting". So after Stonewall, when we rose up and finally fought back, we said No to the Straights™ telling us to be shamed just because we existed. No to being made to feel shame by others. True, but social justice was co-opted from the start to be a cope for a bunch of narcissists who wanted to pretend their lack of fulfillment was caused by society rather than being caused by their own failure to sort our their emotional state.
There are injustices, they merit being addressed, and the people currently "addressing" those injustices utterly refuse to handle the possibility that people (either on an individual or collective level) may be exacerbating their own problems through either ignorance or a warped sense of pride.
That's why social justice is a negative term. Not because correcting discrimination is negative (it isn't), but because the people "correcting" discrimination do so by exacerbating everything the "other side" does, ignoring anything "our side" does, and discriminating twice as hard against the "other side". Thereby completely failing to address any part of systemic bias that may be caused by individuals (representing a demographic) being selfish inconsiderate pricks.

It’s the same as labelling things you dislike as “communist”, or little children calling each other “gay” as an insult. Neither understand the word and neither grasp the concept. Public streets are practical communism: they belong to the community and are cared for by the community in form of the local authorities - compare and contrast to toll roads.
The USSR and Communist China were/are totalitarian states and are communist the same way the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is democratic, or a titmouse is a well-endowed female rodent, or the NSDAP was socialist.
It is however fun to watch right-wing snowflakes melting down over bathrooms but, despite claiming to be pro-life, not over children being killed by gun violence or unsecured weapons.
That is because “pro-life” is the self-chosen and totally misleading name for forced-birthers.
Social Justice is something you are aware of and want when you are woke.

I love how people say 'Jesus was described like this, with light hair and eyes!'
Let me tell you a funny story about that... I am from Germany, I have blonde hair and blue/green/gray eyes. When I went to Finland, people said my hair was brown, not blond and my Eyes were dark grey. When I went to Sardegna, people said my Hair was light blonde and my eyes were light blue. I had a friend over there, whos hair I thought was black but she said it was brown. Her boyfriend had - what looked to me like - dark brown hair, but they said it was blonde.
Descriptions of and perception of colors as well as light and dark changes depending on what u are used to. Maybe Jesus' hair war just dark brown, but considered blonde where he is from and his eyes might have been something else then dark brown and therefore considered light.

14:56 The really stupid thing about this is also that the entire premise they're basing it on is exactly backwards anyway: *Pit bulls are not more aggressive than other breeds.* In fact, they are actually naturally *far less aggressive* than many other types of dogs. The only reason everybody thinks of them as aggressive is because *people raise them in bad conditions, mistreat them, and socially condition them to be aggressive* for sport. Pit bulls are *literally an example of exactly the opposite of the point of the meme* (they show that bad behavior is more often a result of the environment someone was raised in, not their genetics).
18:37 "This flag divides" (shows a picture of a flag which is literally a representation of all kinds of different people coming together to form one thing (a rainbow made from lots of different colors))
"This flag unifies" (shows a picture of a flag which was created as a part of people literally trying to split the US in to two separate countries)
I think this one really belongs on r/facepalm more than anything...
21:43 I think they may not have thought some of these all the way through... like for example the grey button "Every woman is impregnated with your semen". *Every* woman? You do realize that the vast majority of the women on the face of the planet are *not white,* right? So you *want* to have billions more interracial babies in the world? I am so grateful to be welcomed into the homes of incredible friends and I’m humbled and reminded to be grateful by the depth of their dedication to Allah and their exactness in prayer. Being so often mistaken for Arab/Siamese specifically in my very white community around 9/11 gave me the gift of ferocious solidarity with all my brown family and made me so proud of being brown and being a voice for support for my chosen family everywhere.)
