Looks like a nice built mower. I should look into getting one.

I researched many zero turn mowers, ran a few manufacturers and decided upon a Bad Boy. I purchased a 2018 Outlaw Extreme 61 inch deck with the 993cc Vanguard 36 hp motor. This machine is a beast. Love it!!

Scheib. Nice job. Best insurance an owner can by. One more thing I would HIGHLY suggest (maybe you’re dealer mentioned it, maybe not but I bet its in the engine owners manual) is to remove the fan shroud housing. This is the black plastic cover that is over top of the flywheel and cylinders. They are fairly easy to remove. Manufactures realized they better make these easier accessible so this maintenance task gets done. Reason being is to clean the cooling fins. These big air cooled v twins move a lot of air and along with that air is grass and dirt. It accumulates on and in the cooling fins especially on and around the head/ valve train nooks and crannies. This leads to overheating of the head and the eventual drop of a valve guide. Doesn’t matter which make of engine the all do it. I’v done head jobs on all of them. I did see a good idea from new Kawasaki EFI v twin, they incorporated the air filter cover to cover access holes thru the blower housing to get direct access to the head cooling fins. My opinion is these Kawasaki’s are one of the best if not the best lawnmower engine for the past 20 years.

Thanks Garny I will definitely check it out.my dealer didn't mention it. I know I get a lot of leaf debris up in there. I am sure there is dirt, grass and dust in there also. Good looking out bud and thanks for stopping in.

Outside with Scheib it’s a good habit to get into. Check at least annually.

Outside with Scheib :: It’s also an awesome place for little critters to nest in during those long winters😳😬

Remove the small cover That has FX 1000 V on it, one bolt and then you can blow out any grass that gets in around the cooling fins.No need to remove the whole engine cover.

Nice machine ya nabbed there Scheib! 👌🏼. We run a few of the 34hp injected Kohler big blocks in 60” Exmarks with bagger attachments. You’re gonna love all that power💪🏻. Looks to be a very serviceable unit👍🏻. Blessings!

Nice to see these are fairly easy to service yourself. Any experience with Ferris? I currently have a Ferris IS4500z with 61” deck. Just wondering how the two might compare, I’ve been eye ballin these for a little while now
