I always appreciate my home. Jamaican's don't realize what they have. The Bahamas is pretty and prosperous, but forrests, mountains or waterfalls. I wish we could have some of the fauna that they have on the other islands. If I were home I would plant every fruit tree I had growing up.

I'm assuming your friend lives in Jamaica. Your Jamaican accent is so much stronger than hers lol. An mi love how you pronounce almond. Jamaicans these days are so americanized. Mi juss close mi eyes and listen to the waves and imagine I'm there. Lovely video. ❤😂

I'm still watching at around the 10 minute mark and I keep having mixed feelings about this kind of development. The average Jamaican will not be able to afford those. In fact Jamaicans probably won't own any of this. I think the demographic of Jamaica will change significantly in rhe next 50 years if that long and consequently the vibe of Jamaica will also change.

Which would be VERY sad! I do agree, though. 😔

Jamaica has so much potential. It is such a vibe! There is nowhere like it on earth. This is such a shame.

@Nyammings What is so bad about development in Jamaica. If there were no development throughout the years we would still be living in huts and wattle and daub. There is plenty of opportunities for every Jamaican to own a home; there are various sizes and price range and we should buy what we can afford like everyone in ALL the countries of the world.

Agreed which is why I say I have mixed feelings. I've actually been having this same conversation with my friends abd none of them agree with me. Interestingly I used to get annoyed with old ppl talking about how Jamaica was back when and I would ask them if they expect Jamaica to remain a kid forever. We have to progress - yet here I am doing the same thing. I guess I'm just getting old. I can't help how I feel.
