Quick question wouldn’t this not be allowed considering the rule where you can’t have the same characters on the board such as playing as Captain America with the Captain America ally or does it not apply to the villains

Technically; not allowed. But we also had Nebula fight Nebula in End Game so it's not that big a deal in my opinion.
