They should have spent a little more money and used the flooring from the kitchen everywhere. That low pile carpet makes it look like an office building.
Yes, but if it was in a better location, it would be 10 times the price. Yes, it'll sell higher in London, but they wouldn't have gotten the house for 36k if it was, lol.
@@thehungrygoldfish There are other things that factor in 'location'. High crime versus low, view property, educational quality of schools, strip joints, and a bunch of other things factor in.
Not fussy on low pile carpet , always looks like a caravan which is fine for that but not house , the rest is ok , it’s their choice different folks different strokes

Yes it looks like "Renter" carpet not stuff you would want to live with if it was your own.
The reno was not 60K that was the cost of the house plus reno. 10-15K profit is pretty good. The road is awful and it is only a 2 up 2 down.
Why match the kitchen handles to living room? Also carpet is not really practical. They did a good job though👍
It’s just a 24k renovation. The purchase price was 36k!!!! IT IS NOT A 60K renovation!!!!!
Nope but they're in it for 60k and now wondering when they will recoup that!
I hate the fake ultra modern fire in the lounge.
Location is everything.
Then number of bedrooms!

In central London this house would be worth 600k easily
It would easily be in the millions
Yes, but it would have bought in auction for 1.1 million with like 800k in renovations, lol.
"decided to put it on the rental market". Yeah because it didn't sell for your asking price :) It was indeed worth 70-75k
0:41 “Rebuilt porch” oh you mean the stoop? LOLOL
Always make sure it works out financially.
How long did it take? And if I need to contact the contractors, how do I do so?
Don't sell keep it and collect it ill do another one
They would never sell for the price they wanted

I think it depends on location
