Before the Wild came to be, everyone said that Saint Paul would never be able to support a pro team, it had to be in Minneapolis. What nonsense. Saint Paul has ALWAYS been the better hockey town.
100% Game 3 day over 19,000 fans! And the stadium has 18,001 seats. It was about 107% capacity! They prob could have built the X twice as big and still sold out almost every game in the State of Hockey 💪

10,000 plus lakes with many many rinks on them, plus several city rinks even in small towns, and dozens of home backyard rinks even in small towns… unlike any other state when it comes to the number of hockey players in the NHL every year… therefore: the state of hockey. 🎤

Except when he played for the Wild. Lol. We loved him because he was a stay-at-home solid defenseman. It didn't bother us back then when he was cross-checking people in the back.😇

If Suter would have been ANYONE else and did the same cross checks, nobody would be chanting. He was just a cancer in the locker room here, and held his seniority over the coaches so fans don’t like him
Agreed, the hate of Suter was boiling from the history, and when he started cross checking our Kirill, it boiled over in the state of MN. Agree that if it was another player the chant would not be as much if at all. But the state of MN took the cheap shots to Kaprizov personally because it was Suter. But yeah, playoff hockey right haha 🫡

Pavelski put himself in a vulnerable situation on his own, if Dumba didn’t just finish his check, Pavelski would have grabbed the puck again he just banked to himself off the net. And pavelski went up high first which is what caused Dumba up high a bit as well. Def a 2 min minor but no more, and not dirty, it was a hockey play during the game. Not like Suter cross checking Kaprizov multiple times not even near the puck ever. But we truly hope the best Pavelski and hope he is back on the ice soon, never good to see a player go down.
