I'll never forget how awesome it was to see Pimp C back when this song first dropped. Even though I didn't become a fan of UGK until around a maybe year before he was released from jail, he was already probably my 2nd favorite southern rapper after Andre 3000. The fact that he didn't show up in the video until his verse came on made it seem like an even bigger deal.
For those like myself who was grown in the mid to late 2000s, this video is serious nostalgia. Yo ass got TI, Slim Thugger, Bun B, and Pimp C all over the video. Good times.

Im from Houston live in San Diego but Southern rap is the King it's smooth and flows I love this version of front back i cant help but start dancing n yeah TI has crisp ass moves with no effort. Plus T.I. does sometimes talks about positive shit and doesnt always glorify the the gangsta shit that isn't as glamorous in the end.
Scarface don't have a problem with T.I. claiming King of the South...UGK never had a problem with it either. He can be the king of the south.....the south still has plenty of GODS anyway.

He had probably 20 phone conversations recorded on that CD where he talked to Scarface, Bun, etc.. and Pimp C did a PSA at the very beginning explaining it. They were all cool with T.I. calling himself the "King of the South".
Pimp C actually went after Georgia rappers saying they weren't even from the South that we were east coast because we are on eastern standard time. RIP Pimp but that was not his best look. Probably the only thing he ever said I had a big problem with.
