Being normal and doing ordinary things whilst dressed up is just so much fun! That's a lovely dress you are wearing and I assume (and hope) that is how you were at the party as the secret is no more! Have a great weekend, Suzie.
Usually watch your videos when your out in public multiple times. Always curious to see if you get any reactions from others. Notice glances and you getting checked out but never see any negative. Your mannerisms and fem voice definitely helps.
I see this as perfectly normal. Like your many fans are writing. You carry yourself with calm confidence and self assurance. You don't stand out in the sense you act out of character. You do stand out because of your beauty and charm however!
In your “Blend In or Standout” rating - the color leggings are a Standout and the top is a Blend In. A thinner v-neck sweater showing some boob would have been a Standout. The hair style was great.
Love your videos. You are always looking so incredible, present, look, sound and move. Lately I've noticed your commenting on your experiences out and about. You are expressing some surprise that people aren't having a reaction, or more people aren't or that they were all very nice. I get it, my 1st time outside of a community friendly bar, I was terrified, almost wasn't able to bring myself to get out of the car. Somehow I finally managed after sitting there waiting for less people traffic, I just did it. It went fine. It was very early on for me and I know I didn't look anywhere near as put together and passible as you. By the way I was voting in the very small community I lived in at the time. The same place my mom would have voted that year. I was so freaked out. And guess what, nobody batted an eye, no laughing and pointing, not a snicker or a comment or a sideways look. Nobody cared. Just like my very 1st time out, which was to a LGBTQ bar. I've been out dozens, maybe a hundred. Daytime, shopping, eating alone, with a friend or in a group. I went dancing at a country bar several times, feeling like I was be provocative and no bad vibes. A few curious people approached over the years, but always in a respectful way, maybe some ignorance, but no bad intentions. The one exception was an early outing to the mall where I attracted some attention from a group of gawking boys. My own fault as I was at the mall, but dressed like I was for an evening of dancing and ready to party. Boots and a miniskirt, not what most ladies wear to the mall. My point is that people are doing their own thing and don't notice unless you give yourself away and even when we do, people still don't care. I know there are some haters out there and they can be dangerous, but I have never met one. Kind of like bear attacks, very rare.
It finally happened! I was at the PC watching this video and my wife was sitting behind me Watching TV. -All of a sudden I heard "Who's she?" I concocted a lie for about half a second , but said "She's a He." and heard "Oh!". Your theme of "More people know" is downright unstoppable! (We went outlet shopping a couple of months ago including Hanes and Lane Bryant and we both had fun: so the surprise wasn't much of a shock!)
Basically, she knows about "me", just not about "you"! The danger here is that she interpret you as a genetic female and that's an entirely different set of issues! My wife left to her own devices probably would accept completely, but being immersed in other people's opinions day to day and the flood of information in the Media, her acceptance tends to ebb and flow. Often I need to tread lightly!
@@Narrowgaugefilms very wise. I know how that goes. My wife has gotten to the point she understands the inspiration and support others like us can provide and will sometimes send me links to people she finds interesting
Hi Heidi, When ever we see you out in public you just fit in, you always look good enough that people accept you as Heidi. It's also the way you carry yourself with confidence and grace. You really have mastered a craft here and feel comfortable in your own skin. Not all girls are that lucky but that's why we love you and look up to you so much. It is an honor to watch you and take whatever you bring to us and try to apply it in our own journeys. And that goes for your wife as well, who we all see as an inspiration. Now I have to mention💋the daughter's party, it sounded like they were having a blast. Ah to be young. 💋💋Jewel
Surely that is the way it should be.Having said that I am still not brave enough to go beyond the front door!Thank you for another enjoyable video & take care.x
Thank you for that advice. I think that I will. I have gone out in semi en femme mode - coats, cardigans etc but never done it properly. As for regrets I have too many to mention but that is another story!!! x
@@heidiphox100 I would like to see that. I think that is a big step for a parent to take. I haven't and probably many of us haven't. In some ways its none of their business but in other ways it helps both you and them have a more honest relationship. My kids are older and no longer live at home so I lean towards the first thought. But if they were still younger like yours sound to be🤔, and I was as advanced in the art of crossdressing as you are, I probably would do the same as you have done.
What is normal? I heard it is a place in central Oklahoma, but I've never been there. I wish crossdressing received more attention than the political and gender and drag stuff in the media. And how many more letters can we add to LGBT? Now I'm reading about gynesexual. Heidi presents a more wholesome and mainstream image. It would be good if a lot more people knew of Heidi. You are the best, Jim.
Happy Phoxy Phriday Heidi! You look fantastic in that dress, hose heels and hair. Normal is looking very nice today. I suspect anyone that sees you out is not "clocking" you but just a jealous admirer of yours. You really do pass well! Add me to the long list of the jealous. You look party ready? Well you are an inspiration to me. Also, need more Lisa too! all the best, Karin Ann ;)
Being a closeted crossdresser all my life I've always feared walking out into the world showing "the rest of me." I wonder if the struggle more often than not, especially these days, is that I still fear that unacceptance but more and more folks just don't care. Still, it's the ones that think it's a big deal that creates the problems. Thanks for the video and I do wish you'd work on the audio but that's a thing with me and maybe not you. Be well.
@@heidiphox100 So true and it's been the story of my life, never taking that first step. I applaud you, Lisa, and others. I lived my life in the shadows. I so admire you for having the courage and self-confidence to walk in the sunlight. To you and your wife, thank you. Be well.
Believe me, I mean this in a good way. You looked like Moms looking for bargains. Hot Moms, of course 😉 HPF! ♥️ Oh! And thanks for wearing #8 as I suggested
Too normal? No that's great, passing is most girls hope and desire. Dressing right for the situation helps, going to Wal Mart in a short club dress will get attention but is it the attention we want, well some may lol...
What is normal anyway? As somebody said once, one persons normal is another person's abnormal. You spent gobs amount of quality time with your wife. A woman who loves you unconditionally. You also have courage, and are quite Brave to step outside and show off the real you. BTW, I'm quite envious of all of that. No matter how hard I try, I never feel like I can be the real me in public. Regardless of whatever aspect of me I want to portray, I never seem to be able to show it to anyone. I can only show them the me that they are willing to accept. I would give just about anything to be more like you.
I think that people really don't care anymore if someone crossdresses. As a pantyhose wearer myself, I'm always wearing hose (Cecilia de Rafael Vidrio is my daily go-to) with shorts in public and nobody seems to notice or even care. There were a couple of occasions where I have received compliments, but that's the extent of it.
Usually when you go into the walking around the world in your own bubble people seem to not notice unless over or under dressed or making eye contact with them. My biggest problem is the guys. Somehow they find a way to ease up on the side of me when, I least expect it.
Certainly not too normal. I like this kind of cross dressing. Just looking like a normal female and blend in without any problem. I have looked at many of your video's over the years and I like them. So, please, feel free to continue to be "normal", after all there are already so many wierdo's in the universe ;-)
Lol Heidi, there's no link there, I don't know how to do it, too funny girl. People in retail want your money, you could wear a chicken suit and they won't say anything. That said, you two are welcome to come into visit me at Sephora anytime. It would be a thrill to meet you, lunch is on me. Peace Sheila
Didn't see a link to the other video. I suspect you are passing because you are dressed appropriately and your mannerisms don't draw a second glance. Basically you look like a woman of a certain age shopping. Most people are so busy with their own lives they don't really notice other people, and when they do it is a glance at most. Confidence has a lot to do with it as well, when ppl are nervous it draws the eye. The other thing is people most likely to read you won't show it IME, they simply keep it to themselves most of the time,bc they don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. In your case with your look and mannerisms I doubt many ppl read you, there just isn't much there to draw the kind of scrutiny that gets ppl read:)
Re: Your second paragraph. Ryan Reynolds had a recent movie where he played a background character in a video game ( I have yet to see this one). The essence of the whole thing boiled down to, that YOU, YOURSELF are main character in your own storey (life) and everyone else is either a secondary or background character in yours and of course the main character in their own etc. Where I am there are quite a variety of 'characters' and you just sort of accept that they are there. With some you just go 'Uh ha' with a raised eyebrow and others, sometimes with a bit more concern. And this has nothing do specifically with x-dressing.
