After a 5-year break, I'm finally back to Gwent, and your videos have been a huge help in getting me back into the game. I really appreciate how clearly you explain your thought process. Thanks for the amazing content! Greetings from Sweden ❤
I try to and keep a list of the requests people have. Unfortunately there are a lot and I can only make so many videos, but I do my best to try and make them. Glad you're enjoying the channel!
Great video as always, my selfwound is with portal and tempest, then using drakar and dimum. And melusine with knut and Sigvald and some mandrome. Then use restore to boost my melusine. And svalblod for heavy control. And of course the turtle! It's one of those decks that can go insanely good or be a tough win. But when it works it is amazing!
@@platinumpatrol2964 same but you know what surprised me this season? I haven't played against patricidal fury? The most meta deck in the entire game and I have not seen it once this season? Maybe I've just been lucky/unlucky
Oh man you gotta love svalblod! I know it's a cliché but I love the turtle! Even in my alchemy decks I have the turtle. Remember first time I played against turtle I didn't know how it worked, and I played siege so I was going insane! I kept hitting that dumb turtle and he kept getting points and he just kept giving it armor and like an idiot I just kept hitting it, in order to try and destroy the armor. Cause I thought it would destroy itself when it's armor was gone, imagine my surprise..
Yes, although it should be running Kaer Trolde over Muzzle and Decree/Maxii over the Tempest + Fog package. To do so it's necessary to remove one of the high provision cards. The one I usually see cut is Heatwave since Kaer Trolde + Dwimveandra and Knut offer enough control to handle most things. Some of the buffed Bronzes are probably better than Terror Crew Plunderer now as well.
Still taking requests? I've been trying to make a Tatterwing lines pockets deck w bounties and lots of creation options to avoid the 1 power problem. Cards like Cleaver, eventide, triss telekenesis etc with Gord and Ignacius as finishers. I can't seem to get a balance I'm happy with tho. Something you'd be interested in?
@@benedictbrown1047 I'm always open to requests. I'll add it to the list. And I don't hate Tatterwing that much, it's more the Tatterwing AQ deck is very strong at the moment and isn't very interactive.
Yeh that's fair, uninteractive decks are always frustrating. Well here's the decklist if you want, I've played it in prorank with very inconsistent results 😂 fun to pilot though. You basically win if they don't answer Cleaver. Hopefully you get some inspiration to get it to work
@@shalak001 I looked him up out of curiosity and clicked on the beginning of the recent broadcast from when I recorded this and by some miracle clicked on this game. It was the 2nd game in his stream from 2 days ago.
Self wound is considered one of the harder decks to pilot. Personally, I don't think it is difficult, Svalblod nuke math aside, it's not so bad tbh. I'd you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you give it a shot. It might have a learning curve a little higher than the average deck, but once you learn, it's hands down one of the funnest decks you'll play.

Hey, my favorite deck. BLOOD FOR SVALBLOD! Keep up the great work, man!
I think it's really cool that someone requested this deck build and then you made it for them :) I'm like hooked on your channel now lol

I really appreciate how any options there are to run in Self-wound nowadays

38:25 I laughed for too long at that 'that's stupid'
Lol yeah, I really thought he was playing it melee for a second there.
Sick!

That heatwave...

Is this deck hard to pilot?
I would say so

Challenging to evaluate when and how to use your provisions.
Doesn't help either that half the games you play against right now seem to be pirates.
47:45 - the real reason you lost. don't know in what world it's better to play Svalblod instead of mardrome and 2 leader charges.
Yeah..
I miscounted the Mardrome by not accounting for the ship's armor. That would've been much better.
Wasn't the bronze pirate triggering one fanatic enough? Totem click on the other fanatic, plus 2 passive from vial
@@portoy_ if you wanna go tall with mardrome round 2 - sure
