I have a guy today in Florida that is considering a vintage bmx trade for NOS Dayton gold spoke15x10 wheels I want for my 98 Ranger. I know the value of the wheels and the bikes but needed an education on the other components so you helped me out today. Now I know what I have to buy on top of the wheels and tires with no knockoffs or hubs

Those are some pretty wheels. Hope I can get them on the rear of my 60’ T-Bird. I’m nervous about how the outer fender sits low and the wheel and tire clearing between the adapter and the outer fender. I should be okay with a 195 width tire.
Any 80s or 90s cars look good on daytons and luxury cars just add vogues black wall for 5.0s and mini trucks

By using that extension bar on your socket wrench and not using a torque wrench, I feel you may have over-loaded your wheel studs, possibly stretching them and inducing elasticity stress.. Nice wheels though!
Daytons and other Wire Wheel Brands always did look better on 1st Gen Chevy S10's, on the 2nd Gen S10's not so much

Hey hardcore guru. Can I run 3"coils with 2" spindles in the front? I have 3" coils now.. rough. Dearched belltech leafs with 3" block in back. Still not low enough. What can I do? Will tubular arms help? Maybe I can get another inch out of the front. ? Needs to go air ride to tuck I think.. what's your opinion? Can you guide me? - Electro ( bump stops hacked out) needs at least a c notch. I have the nitro shocks all the way around still looks like 4x4. For wheels I'm thinking adapters with 18/50
Yes you can run spindles. You can cut a coil or half if its still not low enough. You can dehump your lower control arms for more travel. Your final product depends on so many factors. Best to decide on what look you want first. What size wheels/tires will you run, etc...

Moe Guzman they are getting harder to find the square body S10 Chevy truck , I owned a 1979 GMC SHORT step side and a 1972 GMC Suburban 3 door I had a set like those on the Suburban it looked way cool it was light blue body with a white top tented window's just the front window and the drivers side and passenger window wasn't tented and lowerd.

Dayons are one of the strongest rims made. If you're worried about pot holes id suggest not having a custom vehicle at all. Shit happens.

Yes you can use you factory lug nuts, as long as they are hollow and conical seat.
What do you mean by hollow?
You can see all the way through it. Not the decorative type of lugs...

That's going to be something else. Not the adaprers. Nothing really for them to hit. Do you have dropped spindles?
HardCore Garage I don’t think it’s that because when we put the stock Chevy rims on and drive theirs no noise at all and I even had some 18inch rims on my impala but once I use the Dayton’s I get that nouse

For a person that needs to invest in an impact...where did you stick that screwdriver on the front wheels to keep them from moving...I don't mind the work using a torque wrench
I never use impacts on wheels.. you stick it between the plates of the rotor.
And sticking it through will prevent it from free spinning? Asking cause I was gonna put my 13s on myself but thought I needed an impact gun for my adapters and that I don't have
On both sides? I didn't see the screwdriver truck when you did the other side
Yes both sides. Stick it near where the caliper bolts. When the rotor spins the screwdriver will wedge against the caliper. The other side your screwdriver will be under the caliper

What stops someone from kicking them losses with steal toes or even hitting it with a rock or chunk of wood? Then either it falls off as you drive away or WORSE they walk away with it. Why I'd rather have 5 tight lug nuts.

Well I've had a car that got messed with repeatedly. Either cops or some jealous prick. Even had a guy out side a bar sitting on the hood of it trying to pick up some chicks by claiming it was his and he was to drunk to drive it home. Almost turned into a fight when I shut his game down. I Also had a friend who had wheels like those come out in the morning and found it laying in the dirt. I always wondered how he got jacked so easily. What happens when you live next door to tweakers
