The autumn season in the Šumava National Park (Czech Republic) is defined by the red deer rut. The chilly morning air is pierced by loud roaring of the stags who are determined to pass on their genes. Filming these elusive wild animals means a real challenge because moving around with the camera equipment is extremely hard in the mountain conditions. It took me at least 25 hours to capture the footage that you are watching. Enjoy the amazing atmosphere!
