As a hobby gardener, I've prepared my pots for this year's summer season in the garden. Last year, I successfully grew eggplants and bell peppers in them. To achieve good results again this year, I've fertilized them with organic granular fertilizer. Of course, compost can also be used to provide additional nutrients to the plants.
In previous years, I tried growing radishes and lettuces, but unfortunately, the results weren't as successful. That's why I've decided to plant them directly in the ground this year. Thanks to the garden house, the plants survived the frosty days of spring. However, the rainy May brought out many snails that ate the leaves of the radishes and lettuces.
These experiences have taught me the importance of taking the right care measures. Therefore, I now plan to build a raised bed to better protect my plants from weather influences and snails in the future. I'm confident that this measure will help my plants thrive optimally and allow me to harvest abundantly.
Bilang isang hobby gardener, handa ko na ang mga paso para sa tag-init ng taong ito sa hardin. Noong nakaraang taon, matagumpay kong itinanim ang talong at bell peppers sa mga ito. Upang makamit ang magandang resulta muli ngayong taon, binigyan ko sila ng organic granular na pataba. Siyempre, maaari rin gamitin ang kompost para magbigay ng karagdagang sustansiya sa mga halaman.
Sa mga nakaraang taon, sinubukan kong itanim ang radish at lettuce, ngunit hindi gaanong matagumpay ang mga resulta. Kaya naman nagpasya ako na itanim sila nang direkta sa lupa ngayong taon. Salamat sa garden house, nakaraos nang maayos ang mga halaman sa malamig na mga araw ng tagsibol. Ngunit ang maulang buwan ng Mayo ay nagdala ng maraming suso na kumakain ng mga dahon ng radish at lettuce.
Binigyan ako ng mga karanasang ito ng aral sa kahalagahan ng tamang pangangalaga. Kaya naman plano ko ngayon na magtayo ng raised bed upang mas mabuti kong maprotektahan ang aking mga halaman mula sa epekto ng panahon at mga suso sa hinaharap. Kumpyansa ako na ang hakbang na ito ay makakatulong sa aking mga halaman na lumago nang maayos at magbigay sa akin ng masaganang ani.

Thank you for the tip on how to prepare your soil . We are using compost frompeeled veggies and fruits . We don’t have a lot of knowledge in planting, but we try hehe . This year we have tomatoes and chili peppers. Hoping no more snails this time for your lettuce .

Great and amazing ideas... Way back when i was in high school we plant pechay and egg pland and we use compost layered with soil .after we harvest we sell it to the teachers😊..
