As a Bay Area resident, it's nice to see both the BART Silicon Valley extension and the Santa Clara development mentioned in this video, as both are exciting projects. For BART, their biggest need is to extend to San Jose Diridon to connect with the other transit networks such as Caltrain, ACE and another connection with Amtrak and VTA. And for Santa Clara, I've been seeing multiple 20 story residential buildings when passing both the Great America and SCU stations by train, which is encouraging because more homes are needed to alleviate congestion and bring down the housing market value to make everything more affordable And that's not even mentioning California High-Speed Rail, which would be an absolute game changer for the entire state
