English-say hail ram chandra .who ever dont speak will lose his glass and plate LOVE FROM INDIA .
Our language spoken by Fiji Indians is almost identical. Just that we have slightly more Awadhi influence, and you have more Bhojpuri influence. Such a dialect probably existed on a continuum in East Uttar Pradesh in the late 1800s.
This is Magahi language, a cousin of Bhojpuri language which is easily intelligible throughout Avadhi, Banarsi and related cultures. The customs this Maai Ji is describing are the same across this stretch of Eastern UP through Bihar and Jharkhand. Someone said it well - these areas of India will have to look to Suriname, Fiji, Mauritius and the West Indies to see their unadulterated heritage still alive. Kalpana Patowary, Malini Awasthi and Manoj Tiwari should be invited to listen to the older generation of these people and reintroduce these songs. The Devi Pachras, Nachaniyas, Sohars, that they sing are fun, devotional, cultural, and most important, sing of the history of our ancestors. We should celebrate this as much as other Indian languages and cultures.
Currently doing scholarly research on Devi Pachra. i myself am half Fijian and Trinidadian and this Pachra geet and Devi Sawaar is my family tradition as well (we have kept this alive after nearly 200 years :)) I noticed our Pachra has retained much of the older traditional folklore and deities than what is present now in videos from India. Nowadays we have to look to ourselves and our elders to figure out what traditions were present in India 200 years ago, as much of it is now lost or only preserved in very rural villages

what culture of people speaks like this in Bangladesh? this is Eastern UP West Bihar language and I know some people from here are in Bangladesh but not sure when and how they reached there. I am from Fiji and Trinidad and speak like this fluently today. Some of the people who came here were originally from the Bengal region but they became assimilated with the Bhojpuriya culture
