Such fun pages - I remembered almost all of them! I was astounded when you mentioned looking back at art that was much better than where you are now and the same thing happened to me! I felt very alone with this feeling, lost confidence and thought I had lost my ability to produce anything like my older, much better pictures. I don't know how long it took - I don't think more than a few months, but I did get it mojo back. I think going through this is some kind of a growth spurt?? Maybe??
It definitely could be! I think I'm starting to get enough experience to know how much I DON'T know and I think it's scaring me. Which then leads me to not want to start a page because I'm scared because I now realize I don't know anything about art. ;) :) I'll just keep plugging away at it!
Hi Connie! all of your pages are beautiful! Don't sell yourself short, I see tons of creativity in your work 🎉 ! I love your videos. They are always so interesting!!
I love all your concepts where you add how you go along and try new things shimmer and shine needs to be on every page!! also you should see the sweater I wear when I color my dad calls it my hippie sweater. It’s older than I am.😊
The backgrounds on those mandalas were fantastic! Your creative freedom really shone through on them. Hope you’ll do another one of your great, long videos coloring a page, complete with the stencils and background treatments! Thank you for another awesome video!
I’ve been waiting for this video, you inspire me with all your experiments! Thank you, you know because of you I bought those metallic crayons. I absolutely adore them!
Connie...I absolutely adore all your Mandalas. Yours are very beautiful and unique. I have never been fond of coloringvthem and you have inspired me to try them. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful work.
Really enjoyed this. Creativity fires differently for us all. For me it takes feeling good physically mentally etc. if I’m not I’m tending problems instead of being open to it. I don’t know how to explain it better but rest assured it will return😅
Im super scared too i just started coloring a few months ago and i only color in my cheapy books right now bc i don't want to ruin my pretty books...im going to take the plunge soon hopefully
I am only 22 minutes in, but before I forget - you mentioned using the Stabilo pens. Do you have or can you make a video using the 68s and the 68 brush pens (if you have them)? I have a small set of pastel 1.0mm 68 bullet tips, but have considered getting the full set of the 68s and the set of 68 brushes however they are quite expensive for water-based dye ink markers. I know they aren’t going to perform like our pigment pens do, but I would like to see how they work for you and on what types of papers you are able to work on with them. And so far in the video I am loving your Rita Berman pages - I am so intimidated by her books - still haven’t done a page with pigment pens yet…the spaces seem so small!
No - I didn't give a list of the books. So sorry about that! Was there a particular book you were interested in knowing more about? If you let me know, I'd be happy to share details. :)
Oops - sorry about not being more specific! I just mean rubber/silicone stamps - the kind that crafters and card makers use. I like using some of the stamps sold by Lavinia Stamps to add extra images/details to a colouring page. Since I can't draw (at all :)), using stamps lets me add in extra images (like those little mice on the snowflake mandala page). Hope that helps!
I dont know if you have the time but do you have a members only i can join...? Oh and i found a website called gimssine its a Korean store based out of California i don't know if they ship to Canada but in the USA it's free shipping over a $100 but the shipping was very reasonable even if you don't spend that much but they have all the Korean books that we love
Oops! Sorry - I didn't answer your question about a member's only section. :) No, I don't have anything like that. Everything I put out is available to everyone for free. :)

I haven't done a video with the Stabilo pens but I can put it on my list. :) Thanks for the suggestion!
Is there a list of books featured in this video? I may have missed it
No - I didn't give a list of the books. So sorry about that! Was there a particular book you were interested in knowing more about? If you let me know, I'd be happy to share details. :)
Hi Connie, can you give me the name of that Zig black marker? I’d love to try it. Thanks!
Absolutely! It's the Zig Art & Graphic Twin marker. I buy them through open stock here: www.markersupply.com/zigartgrtwma.html
Hope that helps! :)
@ thanks SO much! I enjoy watching your channel!
Hi Connie, you mention stamps a lot, as a relative newcomer what are these? Thanks in advance.
