I gotta say little mix, in my opinion, were better than 5th harmony. Simon Cawoll only back 5th because they were American, but vocally, little mix was better

I’m going to have to agree with you on that! Although I enjoy 5th Harmony, it’s very clear that Little Mix is better vocally. Still love them though ❤
Solo Kelly was more popular in the UK than the US. She was also a judge on the voice Australia.

This is the first video I have seen of yours. I love this introduction to little mix video and had to click. To answer your question about their solo projects and friendship today it is very messy. They were best friends for 10 years but Jesy was bullied in the early days online for her weight. The girls all supported her and dealt with their own bullying, Jade and Leigh-Anne for their race and Perrie for her freckles, stomach scar, and 4 year relationship with Zayn from One Direction. Jesy changed around the LM5 era and started distancing herself from them and tanning darker and darker as well as appropriating other aspects of black culture. Anyone who called her out for it online was blocked by her and her team but she later lied about doing this. In 2020 when filming their Sweet Melody video she was darker than both mixed race members of the group but denied blackfishing. At some other point the girls also spoke to her about this but she brushed their concerns off. During their TV show The Search she dropped out citing mental health and later announced she was leaving for this reason. The girls were very supportive of her. This is then where it gets messy.
Only a couple of months later Jesy was in the studio working on solo music and is now widely speculated that she actually left to pursue a solo career as the girls were already discussing a break (it had been 10 years and they deserved them) and she wanted to get the jump on them. Her debut solo music video was pretty much universally called racist. She then went on to make up lies about her time in the group such as being forced to wear body suits all of the time despite over the years all of them and their stylists saying Jesy only liked wearing a body suit and they had to basically style the other girls around Jesy. When doing a live with Nicki Minaj she let Nicki go on a rant saying horrible things about Leigh-Anne and laughed. That day she lost the fanbase. Texts had come out online 'from Leigh' (widely believed to be fake) talking about Jesy and this is what Nicki was going on about. Her second single flopped as no one wanted to listen to it. She wrote the least in the group and nothing on their last album and couldn't write a solo album so was dropped from her label and hasn't done anything since. It's been about 2 years now. She ignored Perrie and Leigh-Anne being pregnant and only liked Perrie's pregnancy announcement when fans called her out on it. It was revealed she didn't tell the girls she was leaving but they were told through a representative and blocked the girls so they couldn't contact her. They had to finish their TV show, tour their last album, and handle 2 pregnancies whilst she went on telling lies about them and trying to damage their brand.
As for the other 3 girls they went to group therapy and came out stronger than ever. Their song Cut You Off is about Jesy inspired by their group therapy sessions and has very powerful lyrics. Their last album was a greatest hits with some new songs including Between Us, which is about how nothing will ever come between the three of them and they will be best friends forever. They went on hiatus about 2 years ago. Leigh-Anne debuted some singles and around 2 weeks ago dropped her solo EP. Perrie has a debut single she wrote with Ed Sheeran and is dropping the second single on June 21st. Jade hasn't debuted yet but is ready and just teasing people online currently, even her own Dad is telling her to hurry up (in a joking way). Jade will probably debut shortly after Perrie's second single has been released as they take turns to ensure they each get their time to shine without distraction. They haven't been together much publicly. Perrie and Jade met up in America a while ago, Jade has been out with Leigh-Anne the most publicly. This isn't a surprise as Perrie has severe anxiety and panic attacks and doesn't like clubbing (something Leigh-Anne and Jade love) instead liking being at home as it's easier for her. The three of them are still very close, such as a few weeks ago in an interview Leigh-Anne had to call one of her contacts up and she chose Perrie, who was very happy to hear from her. One day they may reform the group for a few songs or album but currently are exploring themselves as solo artists and taking a break after not stopping since winning the X factor. Perrie has a son and Leigh-Anne has twin girls, all three the same age as they were pregnant at the same time, so they're also busy with toddlers.
Wow that was a lot to take in, I didn’t know any of this! The Jesy situation really threw me for a loop! I’m glad the other girls are thriving! That’s really tough to deal with something like that when you’re pregnant wow! Thank you for that insight! I plan to check out Leigh-Anne’s EP sometime this weekend *fingers crossed. I enjoyed both her and Perries debut singles so I’m excited!

Honestly the way the fandom acts about Jesy does get on my tits. They act like it’s the first time a group members left (Robbie left Take That, Geri left the Spice Girls, Zayn left 1 Direction) which essentially is a job. And this whole black fishing thing is a pile of piss too, tanning yourself, lip fillers are literally the norm in the UK and a POC I’m not offended one bit. And for the huns who want to bring up Jesy “laughing” (awkwardly might I add) on a live Nicki Minaj and not sticking up for Leigh-Ann all I have to say is it was her first single, Nicki brought it up and she was literally wide eyed thinking shit what do I do. Seriously some of you kids need to grow up. And another thing no one actually knows what happened behind doors let alone what their relationship is like now. And what history has taught me is they will at some point make up with Jesy and she’ll most likely join them again. In short. Don’t be dick’eds. It’s literally a job that they’re doing. It’s not that deep.

@@nikkis7375 that’s what we see, no one has a clue what’s been happening behind closed doors and if they’ve been in touch with each other. Like I said further along down the line you’ll look back and other things will matter more over someone leaving a group wether it be on good or bad terms. 🙂

Little Mix are better than 5th Harmony. Partly vocals, but also because they are actually friends and got along from day one, well apart from the Jesy mess. And there is no lead in Little Mix, so no one stands out whilst others are stuck in the background
