Really nice brother L . I found out yesterday that deer love to eat figs. They came right next to the window having a good time . It was really awesome. Thank you for sharing fig propagation. Lord bless you all.
Yes brother, they love the fruit and the leaves, they’ll nibble a fig tree down to nothing if allowed to. Same thing with apples, pears, blueberries ect.
@@southgeorgiafigs3991 yes, you are right brother. So far she is just eating the pears on the tree but that’s ok . They are pears as hard as a apple . She got along way to go to eat the fig tree down to nothing but I was going to prune it back later. She is really a beautiful deer . I have to give her an A+ for courage getting just 2 feet from the window lol.
Hello. I am new to your channel. This will be my first time attempting to grow fig trees. My question is how long should I have my cutting? Thank you. I am learning a lot.
Hi Vanda and thanks for viewing my channel. If you are asking how long can you store your cutting before rooting it, my advice is to propagate your cuttings immediately after you take them from the tree. However, if you wish to store your cuttings for a while before you plant them, start by gently but thoroughly washing each individual cutting in wam and mildly soapy water to remove any fungus spores, mold or mildew from them before you attempt to store them. Rinse the cuttings well and dry them well with clean paper towels. Next use food saver to vacuum seal cuttings individually or in groups no larger than 6. Label according to variety, place in plastic shopping bag, fold bag around cuttings pressing all excess air from bag and store in crisper drawer in refrigerator for up to two years.
Greetings N Molina and thanks for inquiring my friend! The link to our currently under construction website will be available and posted on Friday, thanks for your patience.

@@southgeorgiafigs3991 Thank you
Are you using rain water or reverse osmosis to root them?
I use plain tap water to root cuttings, I use rainwater for fully rooted and potted plants, flowers, and fruit trees, thanks guys.
Where can we look for your shop?
