The new generation is definitely into anything nostalgic and the way you update them is simply amazing please keep doing what you do I don't think that you realize just how many hearts you are touching ❤
Zeb, when you first did a pan of your shop, I thought you have so much wall space for hanging pictures and mirrors and BAM, you said pretty much the same thing! I couldn't believe it! Love what you did.
You got some great afghans today. Love all the books Zeb finds, especially the Reader's Digest ones. Zeb was a busy bee at the shop, got a lot of things hung up. Hope you are feeling better Jami.
In our area, here in Indiana, the vintage albums sell well. Younger generations love the music, just as we did back in the day. A waist high flip display makes it easy for customers to stand and look through the albums. When they are down too low, like in Goodwill, it’s hard to enjoy looking and choosing. People expect to be able to slide records out in order to inspect for wear. Also, having an old stereo with headphones for customers to use can help sell the albums. Records are so easy to ship. Thanks for your great videos. Hope you all are getting healthy.
Last year, for Christmas, I was determined to find old vinyl albums of songs we grew up with. Spent an hour sorting thru albums at our local thrift store. Found 3 perfect condition. Best 3 dollars I spent. Listened all month long.
Love all the linens ! I have 2 of those metal bread pans ! I love them !Great video ! Thanks ! The clocks & artwork look good on the wall & I don't always remember to look down when shopping ! Great job you two ! Xox
As a shopper I love having items that hang up displayed on a wall. Even if they are placed higher than usual. So much easier to see how they might look on a wall in my home. And I like items which are similar displayed together so I can do some comparing of color and size.
Zeb time was fun. As for vinyl, I have a friend who has an antique shop and the upstairs is all record albums. He told me that his most popular and worth the most is Pink Floyd! He wants my collection. Never will part with my Floyd. He said also whenever an artist dies ie: Prince, Tom Petty, Toby Keith.....he gets a run on those albums. Know your pop culture. Johnny Cash is big. So on and so forth
That colorful medallion style afghan reminds me of huge millefiori, the decorative glass! Absolutely stunning & what a great find!! Zeb did a wonderful job hanging artwork and clocks in the shop. Wowzers!
Vinyl for younger people is soooo hot! My granddaughter just made wall lights with 6 , 78 records and kept the covers to display also! Wish I could add a picture of what she made! So yes….VINYL!
The Monet Lillies book is sooo reminiscent of your trip to France all these years ago…❤🎉 I am so envious of the Good Sill shops in the US, nothing like this in the UK 😢
Zeb, how do you display all your afghans and quilts? I love seeing your shop tour, very interesting!!!! We don't have any goodwill bins🥲looks like a lot of fun. I just love your videos, thanks you two !!!!!
On the shopping cart, raise the blue plastic thing up and items won’t fall out the front. That Age Of Barns book is amazing! I have bread pans like the two you found, I really like them. Good job, Zeb, hanging things up; now it’s Jami’s turn to “randomize” them. 😂
It is a hedgehog on the napkin holder. They are so cute. There were a few that would forage at night in the bushes beneath my bedroom window in Denmark. Simply adorable!
The albums could be an extra vintage sale. I have about 300 I have had since I was a teenager, definitely vintage. Lol Some are more valuable than others, but the art at the price at the bins is great.
Zeb, I have had an online shop since 2010 and some of my best ideas and best sellers have come from customer suggesting or wanting something , 12:54 records. Just give it a try and you never know it could be a good seller for you guys
Enjoyed watching Zeb decorate and also got a chance to see all your beautiful items ! I love clocks I seen so many I loved how do I view them ? And I liked the book Zeb got from the bins beautiful art in good for crafting ! But I want a CLOCK LOL
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you will find a cutter quilt or quilted pillowcases in colors for Christmas - red and green. I need them for my Christmas crafts!
I have a booth in GA (near AL) and we have a guy who does really well with records. As a previous estate sale owner I will say if you decide to sell them, do a bit of reading up on what is most sought after but also learn about the warping and true collectors have a preference if the vinyl has been laying flat vs standing up as it was stored. Inspecting the vinyl too to look for scratches, etc. It's a good skill to know, but it's like grading collector cards, not for me. ;) lol
Vinyl records are making a comeback but it’s for a specific audience, so I’m not sure it would be lucrative enough considering how limited your space is. Also for the hanging stuff have you considered running a track then having your wall art hanging on wires that can go up and down much like they used to do in old houses?
"Not a feel good day so was looking on how to make my jars & Jeb was in the shop & l got the last mystery box!!. The store looks so much better as you can see items that are for sale. Happy Jami that you are doing better".
Zeb, NO vinyl records. They don’t go with the vibe of pretty antiques. But if you found a piece of sheet music, the kind that contains one song and there’s a picture on the cover pick up that. I bought one with a nice picture and put it in a ready made frame. Frames come in that size. Just a little bit bigger than typing paper. They’re usually 3or 4 pages hooked together with one complete song on it. They turn out really nice.
I use albums as decoration. I have original Some Like It Hot soundtrack with Marilyn Monroe on it and Breakfast at Tiffanys with Audrey Hepburn on it. I have all the Beatles albums and old Jazz to listen to. I have a friend who sold her albums for thousands of dollars. Japanese love vinyl. I also think some album covers are just great art. Not sure if it fits with the vibe of your store, but albums can bring in money
We just bought and remodeled an old 1901 building with stone and plaster walls. Did Zeb just use regular nails in the plaster to hang the clocks and pictures? I’ve not hung anything because I’ve not known what to use…
A cute hedgehog! 😊
As a Brit now living in Canada, I really miss hedgehogs. You were thrilled to have them in your garden as they ate the slugs!
The new generation is definitely into anything nostalgic and the way you update them is simply amazing please keep doing what you do I don't think that you realize just how many hearts you are touching ❤

That stitch design in the beautiful sunflower quilt is called stippling. I'd love to see you make a clock or two out of an old vinyl.
Vinyl for younger people is soooo hot! My granddaughter just made wall lights with 6 , 78 records and kept the covers to display also! Wish I could add a picture of what she made! So yes….VINYL!
