Been almost 10 years since I liked your video fist time, and from time to time I still use your video. Thank you,
Very, VERY helpful video man. Thank you very much, I even like the annotation throughout the whole process of what you typed in CMD.
I just have one question... you said "If you have an ISO image, you can drill down the contents of the image, and copy and paste it over to the USB flash drive." Did you mean extract it? I'm currently in the process of extracting my ISO image using WinRar to my flashdrive.
I hope you meant extract the ISO and then just copy and paste the contents to the Flash Drive.
Cheers!
I'm a bit old school and I just want to thank you for the video. You did a great job of producing it.
God will bless you because you fixed my computer, and this video was 11 years ago!
You need a screen recording program. I use Camtasia. All you do is, click "record screen" and it just records whatever you are doing and it also captures your voice as long as you have a microphone plugged to your PC.
I'm currently pasting the copied data from a Windows 7 ISO file. Will it be bootable? We shall see...
IT WORKED! Nice! Thanks for sharing, sakitech!
You were a HUGE help! I got my hands on a win7 install disk... but my mac mini (target machine for install) does not have an optical drive. So I busted out the dusty 'ol Dell laptop and BOOYA! Thanks a lot!

Hi was going to ask. If this works with windows xp sp3 2002?
why does copying windows file directly into the usb (after formatting it into the desired NTFS type) not work?? Thanks :)
Thank you very much.
Can you still use the remaining space of the usb drive after you copy a bootable iso file into it?

ខ្ញុំចង់រៀន boot flash ដើម្បី choose computer
nice work
If you have an iso file mount it using something like daemon tools and then copy all of the files over to the flash drive.
if your device shows some error or cant create partition don't worry continue next steps
Thanks dude
you rock thanks man
This video should be titled, "How to partition a drive using archaic command-line tools."
The video title is accurate. How long will it be when you see your video reply to this? One that contains how to do the same using using the Windows 7 Graphical User Interface. More often than not using the command prompt gets things done faster and is easier to show the process. Easy to follow for any who discard their command line prejudice. Not that I'll ever be critical of a GUI because that got more people using a PC, and as result because of the economy of scale PCs became much more less expensive for we geeks.
