- My trip to the Lego store on Saturday 15th June 2024. Despite being a month and a half since Lego Star Wars day, the Southampton Lego store still has all 3 of the free gifts with purchase still available in store - there are not too many left now, but with double insiders points on at the moment, I though it was the perfect opportunity to pick up some more Lego sets from the Star Wars range and get another lot of the free gifts.

Nicely done, Iain!. And, like others that have commented, I do enjoy the tour of the PAB wall. The elements are amazingly similar to the ones we've seen recently in the US.

I think the spider tank is a solid choice, its not been overly popular, but the minifigs inside alone sell individually for the price of the set, so could see them going up after retirement easily. Ive searched for it in other stores but haven't found any other than from lego stores. So because of the figures i think this could be like the bad batch shuttle (no one was buying) and go up quite well, not as much as its not a ship and smaller set but still, amazon/eBay have it priced around £60/65 for new sets when its still available at lego for £47? Also the new lego truck though we can get it in smyths toy stores sold prices on ebay are £130, if you can get any and sell them on before they get restocked small profit to be had there if you have any trade fairs coming up.

I'm probably not going to buy any city trucks at the moment it's just come out and Lego will be mass producing these sets so will likely have lots of stock on shelves again in the very near future.

In the past I’ve been given extra promos that have surpassed their timescale when in the store and achieved the threshold. The stores will do this until the stock runs out which is a nice surprise tbh.

Thanks. It was a difficult choice as I needed to buy something Star Wars. Most other sets are available cheaper from elsewhere.
I asked about it on Thursday when I saw the droid carriers behind the counter. I was told Lego didn't want to run out of GWP's like they seemingly did last year in May. So they produced crazy numbers for this year and they are giving them out with the lego star wars spend of £170. They had the droid carriers on June the 1st in Liverpool. Shame I have all the Star Wars range that I would want to that value already.
